I did some calculating..

With the Buy 4 get 3 deal at a deluxe, I'm actually getting 43% off --slightly better than a 40% code.

I finally got my thinking cap on and contemplated my two scenarios...the deal through Magical Vacations is a little over $1200 less including rooms/tix (vrs buy 4, get 7).

The only thing I am still on the fence about is that I have no food plan, because this being our first trip, I don't know where and when to schedule food stops and cannot scheduled us out that much without the experience to know how we as a family can handle the parks.

All personal issues, that I cannot begin to contemplate, so I am just hoping that we can get into some resturants and eat when we are hungry.

I looked back a bunch of pages but couldn't find it. If you have a Disney Visa, do you HAVE to use that card to reserve the room with the Visa discount? Or can you put it on a different card? Because my best friend who is coming with me I just found out has a DV but she doesn't really want to put the payment on her card, although she will if she has to.

I only had to put the deposit on the Disney Visa. I am paying off the balance by making payments with a check,

I looked through a few pages of this thread but can't find what I'm looking for - can anyone help? We're going marathon weekend. I know they blocked this date out for AP & FL resident rates, but which days exactly are blocked out? We're probably going to go Sat - Tue. I know Sat will be blocked out, but I thought maybe Sun & Mon nights would have the better rates.

Every time I check to see when the rates are good it just shows all of Jan but I know they've blocked out some dates that weekend.

I just got a January AP rate!! I'm going three nights, one being marathon weekend so I think the discount only applied to my second two nights.

Here are the rates she quoted me for value & moderate three nights Jan. 9th - Jan.12th.

AS Sports - $202
AS Music preferred - $238
POR - $334

Count me as another who just called and was told no rates yet BUT was told that it looks like they are updating the on-line system so keep checking.

OK, I was told this by someone else TWO DAYS AGO as well. So I have no faith what I am told on the phone!

This is so strange! I actually called twice. The first time I wasn't sure what DH wanted to do so I wrote down the rates. I called back about an hour later and told her I had been given some great rates and she was able to find them again. I hope you all get better rates soon!

I just called again and no rates yet. He did say, "you are right to be calling at this time, they should be out any day now."
