For those that are familiar with knowledge about the process of specials being released...is there a chance that we will know what the HUGE deal will be BEFORE we are able to book it? It would be great to do some homework for an hour or two and then book it without the fear of missing out on it.

Did that make any sense? I am goofy with anticipation fever.

I'm pricing out, some specials they've offered in the past. Free Dining, Free Dining w/ a 20% room discount, 40% discount on room even with package. Then I'll call in the morning and see what they can offer me.

Some TA's know the details about it before it is actually available but my TA told me last year that they aren't allowed by Disney to actually disclose it until the morning it is available to book

Another disappointing day for discounts, but it sounds as though tomorrow may be a better day. Thanks for the mousesavers update, Corjack. I was just on mousesavers about an hour ago, and nothin. I see now, mousesavers is reporting "If you're planning a trip to Walt Disney World in the first half of 2009, watch this space for a HUGE deal! I expect this exciting new offer will be released on Thursday, November 6". So cool! I have to go practice with my dialing finger for tomorrow. Bye, everyone!!

Okay, so I haven't checked since early this morning...something is obviously going on, but looking through the posts is getting confusing!

Did anything actually come out today, or is it just that it looks like something is happening tomorrow???

I just spoke to a nice CM, I told him I heard that tomarrow a HUGE deal was coming out. He said it was the biggest promo ever offered. I am already booked in Jan from the 22-26th with a sports package- which I thought was a good deal. PO Riverside, 2 adults, 2 children 11, 13, three day park hopper for $1200. Includes transportation to the sports venue. He said call in tomarrow afternoon, he thought that is when it was going to start. I gave him all my numbers, and he didn't come out and say that the new deal was better-just to call in tomarrow. I am hoping it is a better deal- maybe free dining??!!

Actually you have all day today to get a spreadsheet together with different scenarios. i.e., have base room rate, 10% off 15%, 20% etc. ticket prices with all options, have everything listed separately then added together in different packages to know more or less what your best options would be

I posted this question before, but didn't get a clear answer...so I'm going to try again!
We are renting points for our trip in January, so I know that a code for lodging won't help us much....but we haven't bought tickets yet and I'm wondering if there was any code that I should be hoping for? We do need to book our first night at Pop and we're going to do the dining plan....so, should I get excited or is a code not really going to help me anyway??
