Jan 2007 codes?

We are going to universal in jan but would love to add some time on before for Walt disney world but need a discount to do that, since I only want to go if I can stay Deluxe since the last few times we have stayed Mod!

We went in January last year and really enjoyed it. It was actually busier than we expected for part of our trip though because of the holiday, but we made sure to avoid that for our upcoming trip. We did save a little over $200 because there was a winter promotion that gave us a discount on our room. I think there was a promo this year, but I'm not sure what it was. It was pretty cold. We were wearing coats at night, but it was nice during the day. We loved it! It got warm enough for shorts toward the end of our trip. The weather in January is pretty unpredictable.

Bumping, it seems like us JAnuary folks are getting the short shift. Feb 2007 folks seem a lot more active, hmm maybe I shouldn't complain as maybe that means the parks will be less crowded!

Just subscribing. We finally booked POFQ for Jan. 28-Feb. 2. MYW plus dining for $2300 so any discount would be fabulous. Last year there was a room discount plus pass upgrades. I think it was released right after Halloween. That would save us a few hundred $$ now that we have to pay for DD who turns 3 before our trip.

Would love to see them do a litte more considering Jan is "value" season.

hoping there will be ap rates for january! got excited when i saw that ap rates were released, they just didn't go far enough into january 07. keeping fingers crossed that they will be released later in the year.

I really wanted to do a long weekend in Dec for Christmas, but now really think a week long trip in January w/ all the frills would be better. I guess I'll book the AAA rate and cross my fingers for something else.

We should be next for a code!! We have booked CR Wing Room with AAA discount but I just purchased my first annual pass so we're hoping for AP discounts for Jan 1 and March 11. From all the activity on the boards it looks like you must be on top of your computer to get your first choice . Hope we all get one!

My best friend and I are going for our girlfriends birthday trip
I am so excited to take her. She has never been to WDW and will be celebrating her 61st birthday
We have booked POP because we wanted to save money for other things. She is on a budget.
Anyway, we booked AAA and have it at $62 or so.....hoping for an AP code so we can use the money on more souvenirs

I also had to cancel my free dining trip in August...we were supposed to leave today . I reschedule for March, but I'm going to switch to january and I would love a code! I really want the free dining, but for 2 people, park hopping 7 days with dining at Pop its $2000.00! That seems like a lot to me.

Hello fellow Canadians! We have booked with the CAA code room only for January through Disney reservations. We will watch this board and if we see a better discount (usually closer to Jan) we will call and ask if they can apply the discount to our existing resrvation.
For CAA we just gave them our card # over the phone. For other codes the letters or # are often posted on this board.This strategy has worked well for us for 3 years. Have a fabulous trip. We love Disney !! Room only requires a one night deposit but you can cancel up til a week before your trip so you have more flexibility. Good Luck!
