Jan.2006 code watch!!

Hello,
Has anyone taken a tour in Jan. before? Do we have to book one ahead of time or do we call when we get to WDW? We just don't know what we will be doing on any given day. And, does anyone have any advice as to which tour is the best? We can probably only afford one and it seems hard to pick. The Keys to the Kingdom tour sounds really good......
And does anyone think that we really have to book dinner reservations now or just when we get there? I wonder how easy it is to walk up to a restaurant the same day to make a dinner reservation, especially now that there is the dining package. For our prior Jan. trips, we could usually get PS for late lunch or dinner when we stopped in the morning. Any advice is helpful.
Thanks alot :)

CRO also told him that I HAD to have the park hopper with water park plus added on so even if there was a discount, I wouldn't save anything since I don't have ph or wpp.

The PIN code I received by e-mail also required park hopper and water park plus add-on. I worked the numbers and it is a good deal if you want the park hopper and water park plus add-ons. I was only looking for a 3 day base ticket, so for me the deal just isn't working. Maybe the next set of discounts released will be more flexible.

I think I am going to go ahead and make at least one dinner ADR today for the Rose and Crown. I've heard the seats are great for watching Illuminations. Now I gotta hope for warmish weather or else we'll be drinking our Guinness and eating goodness -only-knows-what-as-long-as-its-hot with our mittens on. Who can hear the music when they're wearin' earmuffs anyway??? >>> :music:

I booked the family magic tour for the first week of January as well as several ADRs (CRT, CP, Sci-fi, Coral Reef, Ohanas). I booked the family magic tour a couple months ago and the ADRs at the 90+10 mark. I may in fact not keep all the ADRs but I have them all set up just in case.
When I booked the ADRs it sounded like there was a ton of availability since I had no problem getting all of them and at the times I requested (except CRT which was an hour later then I had asked for).

::MickeyMo I didn't think there were "codes" anymore. I booked my Jan. trip already through Disney and got that new "Best Rate" program. An excellent rate at that. I'd log into the passholders section on the Disney website and then click that "book now." ::MinnieMo

Luv4Disney- What rate you did get and where? I have also booked, and I guess I got a good deal! I am new to the BRP, so I think it's a good deal, but who knows...

$211/night at WL for CY view

I may be wrong, but I think the BRP program is for AP holders. The rest of us have to rely on special packages, codes and pin codes.

::MickeyMo We're going value since it was a last minute trip idea. We got $59 a night. Only $533.44 for 8 nights. Can't beat that! ::MinnieMo

Still, I hope I get the email pin...probably not since I received the Fall one which of course I cannot use.

Maybe we'll be really lucky and get a freakish hot, sunny day. :sunny: A day perfect for water parks.
Hey, I can dream. :cloud9:

Head on over to the thread about the new code for Jan. Someone posted that their TA said she thought the general code will be something very similar to the email pin, if not the exact same thing. So you may get it without the email!!

Okay, now I am kicking myself for paying off my AAAs package already. Wonder if a package comes out I could get a refund? I guess it doesn't hurt to ask.

I paid off my AAA package too. We will be able to get a refund of the difference if this package comes out.
