Relatively new to the boards. Just booked our family vaca for Jan 14-21 2006 at POP. (Will be our 7th trip to WDW, did the Land/Sea in 2005, AWESOME!)

If I read the previous messages correctly it sounds like there may be a deal out there if I know the right codes? My wife makes fun of how much research I do on Disney, but I haven't heard this one...very interesting.

Sounds like the codes are not yet out? How do I keep an eye out for them? Any help would be appreciated.

Can't Get Enough of the Mouse

BUT the fact that there were both Room-Only and Package codes announced for the time period immediately preceding January (OK -- not Christmas -- but everybody KNOWS that ain't gonna happen ) has given us all some hope after a long dry summer of mostly rack-rates. This is a great place to check for early discount warnings and so is mousesavers.com. Good Luck!!!

I was told last night by Disney that a new package deal went out officially yesterday for Jan.1-March 8. But, was an e-mail, postcard deal! He said to keep waiting for a general room code.

Just checked my e-mail and no code to be found. (Sigh.) Maybe it's just delayed in being delivered to my inbox....yeah, that's it! (Hey, a girl can hope, can't she?)

And if you did indeed get a pin code of some sort, what is being offered for Jan 1 check-ins at a value? I am just trying to figure out what sort of discounts may be offered for that week.

but I wasn't really expecting there to be. About 2 months ago, I actually called and asked CRO if anybody in my group and/or family had a code next to their names. Nobody did... Aahhh, demographics is a cruel mistress!
Oh well, I joined AAA and thank goodness, they'll apparently take anybody.

I just had to say that I just called to book for a client and the CSR clicked the wrong code... ~ She said, oh no, that is for 2006!!! I wonder what it is!

I just called looking for a pin code for January dates and was told that there is nothing showing right now. He asked me A LOT of questions about when in January I was interested and he verified all of my information that they had in the system. (they were actually missing my DH's info, which is strange since he was there with us in May 2004)

Who know's, maybe now a postcard or email is on it's way. I hope so.

I called yesterday to see if I had a code with my name. The CM did ask alot of questions about when I was thinking of coming in Jan. Also I had to verify all my information and my kids names and ages. I too am hoping a code comes out.

I called yesterday and they had AKL for January 6-14 for 2 adults, 2 kids with one day pass, savannah view for 2460.00. Not too much of a deal here.

I GOT A PIN CODE!! WHOO HOO My email just came. I never got one before. I haven't even figured out if it is a good code!! Lol. It says $433 per adult 6 nights with park hoppers. We got dining right now, so I guess I will just have to call and see.

I just got the same e-mail. I was wondering if it was a genuine PIN code or just a general public code. I haven't worked the numbers out at all to see if it was good deal or not. I came to the boards first to see if anyone knew anything about it! I'll go start calculating in case anyone has any questions!

So my AAA agent called and the first time was told it was room only so that wouldn't help me. I told him he was wrong and call back (we are friends, worked at AAA together). The second woman told him that there were no rooms available for my dates. I am having DH call because I think CRO is getting confused since I am already booked with AAA. We will see what he comes up with starting from scratch. CRO also told him that I HAD to have the park hopper with water park plus added on so even if there was a discount, I wouldn't save anything since I don't have ph or wpp.

I hate CRO. Dh called and was told we had no pin attached to our name. HUH? We recieved the email. So she gave him a AAA code since techincally we are already booked with AAA. Will have to wait until tomorrow to see what happens.
