SANTA MONICA, Calif., Dec. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Jamie Lynn Spears' Zoey
Brooks receives life-changing news in a special one-hour original Nickelodeon
TV movie premiere, "Goodbye Zoey," airing Friday, January 4 at 8:00 p.m.

with whether to move to London with her parents or to stay put on sandy shores
with her pals at Pacific Coast Academy.

"Friendships are put to the test in this exciting TV movie, where the kids
face the real-life challenges of making tough decisions and moving to new
places," said Marjorie Cohn, Executive Vice President, Development and
Original Programming, Nickelodeon. "We think the surprise ending will leave
viewers riveted and looking forward to the new season of the show."
Zoey's life is shaken when her parents reveal their sudden plans to move
to England and give her the option of packing up and settling abroad with
them. Overwhelmed, she ponders the prospect of leaving all of her best pals
at P.C.A. She quickly consults her friends Lola (Victoria Justice), Quinn
(Erin Sanders), Logan (Mathew Underwood) and Michael (Christopher Massey) who
will do anything to keep her from moving, but waits for the right moment to
tell Chase (Sean Flynn), her long-time guy pal. But when he inadvertently
discovers the news before she has a chance to tell him, Chase is crushed that
Zoey didn't come to him directly and brushes her off -- prompting her to
seriously consider saying goodbye to her life at P.C.A. And just as Zoey
thinks she's made her decision, Chase inadvertently throws a major league
curveball leaving her more confused then ever.
Zoey 101 debuted in January 2005, and was the network's highest-rated
series premiere among tweens in almost eight years. It quickly emerged as the
leader with that demo and now ranks as the number-one series on TV with kids
9-14 as of November. Nickelodeon owns several of the top live action series
on all of television, with Zoey 101 ranking among the top five.
The series and the TV movie come courtesy of executive producer/creator
Dan Schneider (Nickelodeon's iCarly, Zoey 101, Drake & Josh, The Amanda Show,
Kenan & Kel, and All That) and his Schneider's Bakery, Inc. Schneider also
penned and executive produced Paramount Pictures/Nickelodeon Movies feature
film Good Burger, and his recent credits include creating and executive
producing the WB series What I Like About You starring former Nickelodeon
star Amanda Bynes.
