I can't believe it;s finally here. We're celebrating DS' 5th bday! Grand gathering style with DGM, DGF, DGGA (that's great great AUNT!), DAunt, DUncle, Best cousin!

Any suggestions on room requests-near elevators for DGF, best animals for DS?

Anything else-besides all the great infor on these pages???

You'll want to be on the Zebra trail side which is the side where the elevators are located. Make sure CRO notes that you're requesting this for limited mobility issues with the DGF. Arusha Rock - which is the main savannah. It'll be on the Zebra trail side.

Try requesting a 4th floor view as well.

I will call today and straighten everything out. I have the ADR numbers from the email Don sent. I was afraid I couldn't go on the safari, but one can always hope.

We stayed at AKL in March 04 and did the Sunset Safari and had a wonderful time! But unless DVC does concierge villas at AKL, I doubt we will be able to again. :sad2:

We stay on points and once the DVC opens at AKL there will be no more staying in AKL hotel rooms on points.

Here's hoping some really cheap AP rate pops up! :thumbsup2

Okay, Cass, you seem to be the "expert" on the pic thing...it has occurred to me that I have never had occasion to upload a pic into these threads! So, could you just explain to me how to do it? If you do, you WILL get your pic of AKL's Christmas tree. How's that for a bribe?!

and we thought we'd take our cards down all address and stamped and ready to go....how close can we get to the Gingerbread Village...?THe tree is lovely but can you get right up next to it? The first full day we are going to the MK-so we can definately get something there... :confused3

I have a set of Attraction re-entry passes for the MK that expire on 12/10/06. I also have an Arcade Deit card for the AKL arcade. I have no idea what is on it. It may be .50 or it may be $10. Anyway I will mail these to the first person replying who is going to be there before the Attraction re-entry passes lapse.

Actually, the last half of the post is about putting a picture into your SIGNATURE...to put one into a POST, just surround the photopost URL with a bracketed IMG in front and a bracketed /IMG at the end.

Cass and Ronald Duck, you two are very funny! Actually, Cass, I really want to learn to do this. I am pretty computer savvy, and I have to admit, I feel like an idiot having to ask how to do it, but thanks to R. Duck for the directions. Then I just remembered that the DF (Disney Fiance) just flew off in a Southwest plane with the darned pic from Wilderness Lodge! Oh well, maybe I can think of some lame excuse to drive out to AKL and take a pic of the tree.
