Yes, very cool pictures. Okay, we spent the night cheating on AKL. I convinced the fiance to take a Motorola Q pic of the tree at WL. Does anyone at least want to see this pic? We had a great dinner at AP, the buffalo was incredible. As always, Diana, at the bar, was her usual best!

Due to many reasons, we've had to cut back our AKL trip in March from 7 days to 5. Well, that is just not enough WDW for us. By dropping from concierge to pool view, it gave us the points (we're DVC members) needed to stay at the Polynesian for 7 days in May.

We hate giving up concierge, but we will still be at AKL and that's what's important! And we'll be back many times once the Villas are finished.

So .. my question.. we already had our ADRs and the Sunrise Safari booked thru Don in the IPO. I'm assuming our ADRs will be fine, just need to cancel the ones not needed, but what about the Safari? Is there any chance we could still go? Or is that strictly a no no? I don't want to even asked if there's no chance.

I was told the other day that bunk beds were usually reserved for families of 5 too but they were making sure i got one. I originaly paid more for the bunkbed deluxe room and then upgraded to concierge and want to make sure that I really got them. I can't wait to see the look on my boys faces when they see them.

Anyone know what floor they are on? I am thinking 5th cuz that's where the deluxe savannah rooms are right?

...I would definitely call and speak to Don PERSONALLY to explain the situation....you probably won't be able to go, but if it is on your credit card, you may not get a refund.....

There's a 48 hour cancellation policy for the Sunrise Safari, so I would think they should be able to give you your money back if they won't let you go because of your change in plans. I hope they'll let you go.

Club lounge...assuming you are talking of the concierge level? It's on the 6th floor.

Four days from now we are going to be at the AKL!! Three days from now, we will be driving down to Syracuse which is where we are flying from! Am I packed? No. Have I done all the laundry I need to do in order to pack? No. Am I waiting for my teens to give me all the clothes they are planning on bringing? Yes. Am I checking the weather forcast 50 times a day so I can figure out what to pack? Of course. I want to clean the house somewhat before we go too. Why aren't I doing that? What the heck am I doing here? AAAAHHHHHH!!

Today I went to a DIS meet here in Canada, we met at a local mall at the food court, right near the Disney Store. We had coffee and chatted and then shopped. It was nice being with people the love Disney as much as I do and don't look at me like I'm crazy!

Unfortunately, you will not be able to participate in Sunrise Safari if you are not staying concierge level the night before safari takes place. You do need to send them an e-mail or call them about keeping your ADRs the way they are though. I lost a few ressies once because our resorts and dates were changing. It's like the ressies cancel if you cancel the concierge room. They may keep the ressies out of courtsey, but they can give you the confirmation #s so you can make any changes if you need to. I'm sure they wouldn't mind doing that at all.

If you ever get a chance again in the future - do a concierge stay and participate in one of the safaris. We really enjoyed both of them.

I shouldn't have peeked at this thread. I'm seriously homesick.
