OK I have been trying for like a month to get the AKL ticker in my signuature but every time I go to create one theres something wrong with the site (tickertag.com). I dont see the ticker at all once its created. All I see is a little box with a big old red x in it. So can someone please tell me what I need to do here. Is anyone else having problems creating one?

Teresa, I actually think the Tickertag site it messed up with that pic. The AKL one, I tried for a few days to make a new one for my b-day trip, and NO GO!!! I tried other tags and they work just fine, even the first AKL one, by some guy, not lisa.......... her's just isn't working. I think tickertag needs to fix it. You aren't doing anything wrong ~~ or fixable!!!

I asked what type of beer was served in the lounge and when it was available and received the following reply:

We serve Casablanca Moroccan Lager, Miller Light and Michelob in the lounge. Though the normal service hours are between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., you should be able to request any of them from any cast member in the lounge at any service subject to Florida State law on service guidelines.

Does this mean it is available all day? I guess my thought was that if we were staying late in the park and could not make it back to lounge by 10pm, we could get a few beers before we left and put them in the fridge? Is that allowed? I never stayed at Concierge before??? Thanks.

Are you really doing this? I had thought about trying it. I know it is not a long term diet, but anything to lose a little before the trip

...me too....I'm 'doing' the 'Special K' diet.....lose a pants size in two weeks....I like the 'losing' part, but that pant size always seems to find me again....

...if you look at the 'concierge lounge' pix that I posted, you will see those "brewski's" chilllin' a bit(with a portion of a wine bottle wa-a-a-y in the back!)...unfortunately, there is no one in the lounge after 10PM...they start cleaning up about 9:45, so no food or beverages will be available....I suggest heading up there at a more reasonable time, grabbin' a few 'cold ones' , and storing them in you room BEFORE you got out for the evening....

I'm very impressed with all the pics on this thread! We have stayed at WL our last 2 trips. We are trying Poly this upcoming trip, but these pictures are making me want to switch! I plan to go see AKL so I can sway DH into staying there next trip. If were staying at Poly can we still particpate in any of the activities at AKL? Thanks.

The binoculars I orderes are Meade Compact Binoculars. I should have them in a few days and will let you know how good (and child friendly) they are.

However my parents are both very opposed at this point to me and my sister going away at the same time as our brother is virtually usesless and I have become my mother's primary caregiver, still sleeping on their den couch, (my father has taken to telling everyone that he does not know what he would do without me). So now I am having a tug of war with myself about whether this trip should happen or not as my sister will not send her kids with just me and for me to go alone it would be pointless as the trip was a special present for the kids.

Hi guys, it's been a while since I posted. I heard from Don at AKL Concierge today, he booked the sunrise safari for us (December 14 - DD12's Birthday) and CRT for breakfast on the 15th and Chef Mickeys for dinner on the 15th.

I want to book the Candlelight processional package but the dates aren't out yet.

Still a lot to figure out and think about... I am excited about this trip, travelling with my DD and 2 people who have never been to Disney before

I think I'll skip the MVMCP this year, it was so crowded last time I went, too crowded.

Hi Cass, Good to see you. I am sorry, I have not been the boards much the last 2-3 weeks. How are you doing?

Isn't Don wonderful. Between him and Juanite and Sue I am so very well taken care or. Have you been to the Candlelight processional before? This year will be our first, also our first time at MVMCP. I hope it isn't too crowded like you have experienced. We are going after Thanksgiving and will be home by the time you arrive.

Have you gone at Christmas before? If so what would you recommend as "not to be missed".
