We have never been to the AKL, and will be there the week of Thanksgiving. Do you have to request turn down service everyday, or can you just ask them at checkin. My children love to see the beds when they are turned down and there stuffed animals are set up. Also do I need to ask for towel animals...i don't want them everyday, but would love the kids to get them once while staying here. Thanks for any info you can give me.

Brookelizabeth - Wishes is a fireworks show at Magic Kingdom. You can find times on the Disney website. The water pagent is at the Polynesian resort.
We are looking at doing a Wishes Cruise, you watch the fireworks from a boat. You can also do Illumination cruises too.

So, at the parks we have IllumiNations at Epcot and Wishes at the Magic Kingdom. Nothing at MGM? I remember reading there was nothing at Animal Kingdom because of the animals and it closes earlier than the other parks.

Then at the resorts there is the Water Pagent at the Poly. Do any of the other resorts have things like this?

Wishes is at MK, Fantasmic at MGM, nothing for AK and Illuminations at Epcot. You can get all current parade and show times and park hours by going to this website:

http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/hours.htm

If you are going next yr and the month isnt up yet, just click on the month you are going to for 2006. Its usually the same times every yr.

I've been trying to stuff as much Disney info as I can into my brain pre-honeymoon so we both aren't completely clueless when we get down there, but one thing I've been having trouble just keeping track of is when each of the nightly shows are.

Epcot has IllumiNations, I remember that one--but I know there is also "Wishes", a light parade on the water, fireworks, and more...

Can someone please tell me what each of the shows are, what times they are and which "land" they are in? Also, any "hints" on good places to watch these shows?

I have already booked our dinner reservations, but I want to adjust them so we can catch at least one or two of these shows.

Wishes and Spectromagic are at the Magic Kingdom. The light parade is on the lake or lagoon . Wishes is the fireworks and spectro is a parade to but with everything all glittery and lit up,flashie. Its beautiful and both are must see. The fireworks shoot off behind the caslte. It got music and narated by Jimmy cricket.

21 days for me!!! My ticker was off too, so I took it out of my signature and now I count it down manually each day (more fun that way )

I'm SO excited I can't stand it. Seems like forever ago it was 4 months away...hope the next 3 weeks go quicker!

Is the light parade that you mention Spectromagic, or is that a different parade on land-just all lit up? And it's on the lagoon/lake right in the Magic Kingdom?
