Jambo House Standard vs. Value

What is the difference in standard studio vs. value. If you want value do you specify? I booked a savanna studio and did not specify value so I am hoping that it will be a larger studio. Is that the difference between standard and value, the size? TIA

The DVC value rooms were created from the smaller standard AK rooms, and are 3 feet shorter than the other levels of rooms. This is a booking category at Jambo, so if you booked a savanna view studio, you will be in the larger room. Just to confuse things a little more, at Jambo only, standard view rooms have a pool view.

There are no value or concierge rooms at Kidani, and there the standard view could be of pool, garden, or road.

value rooms are smaller and can be parking, pool or savannah view.

they are not the best of the savannah views. (generally roof and SV)

Value, Standard and Savanna View are all separate booking categories The value category exists only in Jambo House. It is true that the value category rooms are smaller than the standard and savanna view rooms.

If you booked a Savanna View category studio , that is what you will get. No worries about getting one of the smaller rooms.

AKV reservations can be confusing, though. Some of the value studios do have a view of the savanna, LOL. If you booked a value category room, you can request that you get one of those with the savanna view.
