*Jambo! An August Trip to the World full of Disney Magic..Let the Memories Begin!*

Gorgeous pictures! I especially love the one of the giraffes. :goodvibes

Yay for getting front row on EE! I go as a single rider, so I'll probably never get front row. :sad2:

Love that pic of your mom with the chalkboard gorilla! :thumbsup2 But that's a shame no real ones were there. We saw a couple when we went through the exploration trail - one was sleeping right next to the glass and then woke up for a little bit and rolled over! They're so neat to watch.

Can't wait for more!

Thanks! And yea it was a little bit agravating...but don't worry we still have another day at AK...so there may be some..we shall see...:rolleyes1

Love the report and pics! Good job!

Thank you!! :)

Alrightee, I'm going to tackle this last part of Day 2, but I'm sooo exhausted so we'll see how I hold up. I had to run FIVE miles at tryouts today..ugh :sad2:...but nothing could get in the way of telliing you about my WDW vacation!

So, when I left off we had just gotten back to AKL after a long day at AK. Our ADR at ParkFare was around 5:30-6, but i cant exactly recall. I just know it was in that time frame. I'm sure Mom knows..i'll have to ask. We were also planning to see the Electric Parade after dinner, Magic Memories and You, and Wishes. I'd never seen the Magic, Memories, and You show before Wishes, and I hadn't even seen Wishes last summer...there was a different fireworks show! Soo, I was veeeryyyy excited! :woohoo:

As I was saying we got dressed a bit nicer for tonight, and then headed down to the lobby to meet Mimi and Papa and Laura, Steve, Cam, and Colin.

On the way, Dad saw these really adorable guitars on the wall that we had never ever seen.

DSCN0183.jpg

We got on the bus to AK, because we had decided to hop on the Grand Floridian bus at AK and go straight there. I know that sounds a bit confusing, but you'll understand soon. I mean it was probably quicker than taking a 20 minute bus ride to MK, THEN take a monorail to Grand Floridian. Although, soon you will see, our nice little plan...didn't quite work out.

Here we are on the bus: Me, Grace, Colin, and Cameron:

DSCN0185.jpg

And here is Mom and Laura up at the top of the bus:

DSCN0186.jpg

Soon, we arrived at AK, but it turned out that the GF bus had JUST left! OHNO! But then a Polynesian bus pulled right up. We decided we weren't going to wait for another GF bus, and hopped on the Polynesian one.

It wasn't too long of a bus ride, and we were at the Polynesian. I couldn't wait till a couple nights from now, when I would be eating at Ohana's!

We all squeezed into a tiny elevator to get up to the monorail, and we barely fit!! Grace gets worried about elevators ever since ToT, so she was freaking out! Haha! :lmao:

Then we saw this approaching..yay! We were so closee!.."Please stand clear of the doors.."

DSCN0192.jpg

We had finally arrived at the GF, after a long journey. GF is my dream hotel to stay at..I even decided that someday when I have my honeymoon at WDW(that is a fact)...I am going to stay at GF like my parents did! Okay..so that is my plan..just so you know...

We decided we would all get pictures when we walked in...here me and Grace are with the boys:

P1000315.jpg

Mom and Dad:

P1000316.jpg

My whole family with Mimi and Papa:

P1000317.jpg

And..last but not least...Laura, Steve, Cam, and Colin:

DSCN0196.jpg

We went down the check in at ParkFare, and were seated in only 5 minutes, but WOW was this place packed!!!

P1000318.jpg

The dinner was good (although I was a bit bummed by them not having the ice cream machine), and all the lovely characters came around!

The ladies with Cinderella...

DSCN0203.jpg

Us kids with Anastasia...I guess I was trying to copy her...but of course she does it better!

DSCN0204.jpg

And Anastasia took QUITE a liking to poor Colin!..I think she was in love...:lovestruc

DSCN0209.jpg

For Mom and Papa's birthday at ParkFare, they received a place mat with all the Disney characters, and really adorable cupcakes with a chocolate Mickey head! :thumbsup2

I would probably say that Park Fare had good food, and we had a good waitress...I would give it a 7/10 for this trip!

After dinner, our group hopped on the monorail, and we went straight to MK for the MSEP. Here it is all lit up at night:

DSCN0215.jpg

And here is the castle when it changes all those different colors. Blue:

P1000326.jpg

Purple:

DSCN0214.jpg

We walked in and, luckily, we got a seat right across from the Main Street Railroad for our WHOLE party! They were absolutely perfect!

Here are Grace, Mom, and Dad waiting for the parade to begin.

P1000325.jpg

The MSEP began soon, and I also videotaped the whole thing! Of course some lady has to come up and say to turn off my flash...choosing to tell this to me instead of EVERYONE else using it too! And sadly...I actually didn't listen and continued taking my video..oooh well...I guess you could say I'm a rulebreaker!

Anyways...the parade was AMAZING! And we went up to the front of the castle...a perfect spot, and watched the Magic, Memories, and You show..which I thought was great! The whole thing was just soo cool! How do they even do that! Then, Wishes began, and it was soo magical. I finally realized WOW I'm actually at Disney! I just love that fireworks show:goodvibes

I took an awesome picture of the finale!

P1000357.jpg

After Wishes we hurried with the rest of the gigantic crowd to the buses. We were all SO tired!

We finally made it to the buses, and then waited forever in a huge line for the bus. We actually couldn't fit on the first one, but we made the second one.

Then, at AKL, we hurried to our rooms, and fell fast asleep after a great first day!!

Coming up Next....

A very long day in Future World...and much, much more!!

Okay, it's time to begin Day 3!! Wow, this vacation is just flying by! Anyways, here's my number for Day 3...can you guess where I got this?

P1000408.jpg

Today, we agreed to go to Epcot, but just do Future World. We would do the World Showcase another day. We were going to stay there the whole day, because we had an ADR at Rose and Crown Pub..I had never been there before! Now, I know you may be thinking(if you have guessed where my number came from), "That's not from Epcot!"..then you would be correct! I didn't do my numbers for the day according to that park. I just sort of took numbers where I saw them, and thought they were cool...just so you know!! :goodvibes

On Epcot morning, we all woke up at 7, did our normal morning routine at Disney (grap coffee in our mugs, get dressed, etc.), and were down to meet Mimi and Papa in the giftshop to head to the bus stop. Laura, Steve, Cam, and Colin were no longer going to any parks with us..we had just met up for that day...but we will be having one more dinner with them later in this trip.

The Epcot bus took a while to get there (the bad bus luck strikes again! :scared1:), but once it did, we were on our way!

And soon we were there!

P1000361.jpg

Of course, we did have to wait in a long line before the park opened. I will say, though, that the heat had not been bad at all this trip! I would say that the large crowds were for the Free Dining, I think.

We were soon let into the park, and made our way with the crowd to Test Track..yay! This was also a ride that Mimi and Papa had never been on before, and they were a bit nervous.

We waited in about a 15 minute or less line, not too bad I would say.

Here are a few pictures of our group in line...such as Dad and Grace:

P1000362.jpg

P1000364.jpg

Grace and me waiting, very excited, to board our car!

DSCN0220.jpg

Grace and I got to sit front seat with Papa..while Mom, Dad, and Mimi sat in the back.

And here we GOO!

DSCN0221.jpg

The ride was a HUGE hit with Mimi and Papa! I was glad, because it really is such an awesome ride!

Me and Grace hopped into the cars for a picture...I recall when I was younger, playing games in those cars, and my parents would have to DRAG me and Grace out! I mean, what is more fun than playing in a corvette! :woohoo:

DSCN0222.jpg

The racecar that was on display. I remember when it used to be Bumblebee on display..

DSCN0223.jpg

We hurried on to the next thing. Time was of the essence, you know? We went over to the Land pavilion next.

DSCN0225.jpg

The line for Soarin' was long, at this time, so we got FPs, and went on Living with the Land, which happened to have NO LINE!

I snapped this photo of a quote on the wall of Living with the Land line, because I liked it.

P1000369.jpg

After that, we still had tons of time, so we saw the Circle of Life movie, and then went down to grab an early lunch at Sunshine Seasons..my favorite!

I got the ceasers salad as usual, as did Grace. Mom, Dad, Mimi, and Papa all got sandwiches that were REALLY good! And of course, I finished of the great lunch with a yummy Mickey bar for dessert!

After lunch, we decided to go to The Seas with Nemo and Friends. We went on the Nemo clamshell ride...haha that's what I call it!
Afterwards, Mom, Mimi, Papa, and Grace went to wait for the Crush show, while me and Dad stayed back to look at the aquarium. I was a bit confused though..where were all the fish? Me and Dad both agreed that it seemed like there used to be a TON more! Hmm..i guess it's a mystery...

I saw something new though, that I'd never seen before..the scuba diver go down in that tube thingy that is right by the Crush show! It was cool!

Dad wanted my picture after with this guy...

DSCN0227.jpg

We met the rest of our group when they got out of the Crush show, and they really enjoyed it. Our FPs were ready for Soarin' so we went there!

Soarin' was AWESOME! Gosh, do i love it! I know where all the hidden mickeys are, on it too! After Soarin' we wanted to head on over to Journey into your Imagination with Figment, and that is where we headed.

The rest will be continued in my next part later, because I have to go somewhere, but don't worry I'll be back soon! And just so you know..I really appreciate all of your comments! Thanks everyone :goodvibes

Coming up Next...

It rained, and it rained, and it rained, and it rained, oh and yes..it rained!!

I am loving your trip report so far!
It is making me excited for my upcoming November trip.... :cool1:.
Wish it was November. But love your report. :)
I also video taped some of my trip last year - can be found on youtube.com under the name of DizFan101. :).

I have a flip. It's awesome. I'm making a DVD of the footage.. It's still on the camera but I'll be making dvds of it and deleting so i can take footage of more things - more vacations. lol. :) :cool1:

Love your Wishes finale photo!

Can't wait to read more :surfweb:

Thanks!

Thank you! And that sounds very cool. I will have to check out your videos on youtube!

Okay, so when I left off we were on our way to see Figment after going on Soarin'.

A pretty bed of flowers we passed on our way. I just love how beautiful the flowers are at Disney!

DSCN0235.jpg

Oh, and here I am next to the flowers:

DSCN0237.jpg

We made it over to Figment, and waited in absolutely no line! We hopped right on.

After Figment...Grace, Mom, Mimi, and Papa wanted to go see Caption EO. Me and Dad don't seem to care for that as much, so we headed over to Innoventions, where we would meet everyone after.

We decided to do the video game thing, where you are actually in the video game! It was SO cool! Me and Dad got quite a crack out of that.

We met up with everyone, and then went to the Innoventions that had Sum of all Thrills. Mimi and Papa had never done this before! I went with Mom, and we did the craziest and fastest track. The thing even told me mine was too fast, and I needed to slow it down! Mimi and Papa were newbies at this, and they put theirs a bit TOO slow.

We wanted to go see the Universe of Energy show after, and Grace stopped to have a pretzel. Here she is munching away at it.

DSCN0230.jpg

We stopped for bathroom breaks, and I got this cool looking picture of the Spaceship Earth ball...of course we stilll have to do that!

P1000372.jpg

We all got on Universe of Energy, and thorougly enjoyed it. Well, I think its just hilarious!

We had a little bit of time before our Rose and Crown ADR's, so since we were right there, we went to Spaceship Earth..yay!

DSCN0229.jpg

I always try to make a really funny face when they take your picture at the beggining of SE, and trust me it does not disappoint at the end!

We stopped in Mouse Gears after, and Mom bought the 40th anniversary Dooney & Burke bag...she has the entire Disney collection! I also bought a vinylmation(I am a HUGE vinylmation collector..i have tons and tons...)

I tried on these very funny slippers that were supposed to be Mickey shoes, while waiting for Dad and Grace to leave.

P1000373.jpg

We all went to Club Cool next, because Grace and Mom wanted frozen cokes, and it was on our way to the countries.

Here's us trying the drinks!

DSCN0231.jpg

We tricked Grace into drinking the Italian Beverly...she HATED it! But oddly enough, Papa liked it!!

Dad took my picture pretending to drink out of this giant bottle!

DSCN0234.jpg

Afterwards, we headed to Canada, since England was right next to it. We looked around in the shop, and I got Mimi and Mom's picture in front of the fake Niagara Falls.

P1000374.jpg

We went to England after, and were a bit bummed to find that the new British band wasn't playing tonight. Although, we were VERY sad when British Invasion ended. We checked in at Rose and Crown, and were handed our buzzer. We went to look in the England shops.

Here's Dad, Grace, and Papa wearing these hilarious glasses! They didn't want me to take this, but i HAD to!!

P1000378.jpg

I was very excited when i saw ALL the Beatles stuff they had to buy. (I'm a HUGE Beatles fan!) Although, I knew I would be coming back another day, so I decided to wait. Grace, bought one of those Celtic rings, which was very pretty.

Before long, it was time for dinner at the Rose and Crown Pub! We were seated and began to enjoy our meal!

Mom and Dad got the scottish eggs for appetizers, because they were dying for them. Then, for dinner, Grace got fish and chips, I got steak and chips, Dad got shepards pie, Mom got something that i believe was called: Bangers and Mash. And I think Mimi and Papa both got steak.

Let me just say that this dinner was GREAT! I loved it, and I would most definetely like to come back again! I had the most delicious chocolate cake/chocolate mousse dessert, as well.

I would say that we had awesome food, the server was okay..I think he was new, but overall a great dining experience. I would give it an 8.5/10.

Although, by the end of dinner, our waiter was a bit too slow, because by the time we got out of dinner it began to POUR! Like those famous Florida thunderstorms I'm sure you've all experienced, it was crazy!

I even witnessed a lady slip, and fall down!

We all rushed out of the park with our big, bulky, Disney raincoats. Our sneakers sloshing with water, our clothes soaked through the underwear! I could have cared less about my self...I was just sooo worried about my new sneakers!!

We got on the bus..which of course was freezing cold, and shivered our way back to AKL. NOT a fun experience! :sad2:

Once we got to AKL, it was STILL pouring...therefore the pool was closed. So, we got a hot chocolates, and sat in the lounge area. Then, we headed out and sat in rocking chairs in the viewing area. Although, there weren't many animals out in this thunder and lightning storm.

Everyone wanted to go to bed, so me and Grace met with Cam and Colin, and watched a bit of Finding Nemo in the Lounge area arounf 9, then headed up to our room ourselves.

Then, we all fell fast asleep after yet again, another LONG day at WDW!!!

Coming up next......

The morning at MK, and somebody's birthday!!

Just catching up on your report. It looks like everyone is having a great time. I can't wait til my next trip in January.

Okay, it's time to begin Day 4! Here's my number for today!

P1000204.jpg

Today, we decided we would go to Magic Kingdom, and tackle all the things we missed last time we were at MK!

Also, today was Papa's birthday! :bday:

So, we began our day, met Mimi and Papa, and made our way out to the buses. We got to Magic Kingdom, went through the turnstiles, and waited for the opening show to start. I hadn't seen this show in awhile!

I actually was able to video tape this morning show..I loved it! But I'll show you one of the many pictures Dad took of it:

DSCN0249.jpg

And off we went into Magic Kingdom!! I was so very excited! We made our way up Main Street. We decided today, since Peter Pan's Flight gets SUCH a huge line, that we would go there first today. Therefore, we went straight up to the castle.

With my camera, I took this nice picture of Walt and Mickey!

P1000380.jpg

Dad snapped these pictures of the little statues in front of the castle:

DSCN0255.jpg

DSCN0256.jpg

And here is where I really tried out my photography skills with the castle...how do they look? I tried to take these 2 castle pictures looking up at it.

P1000381.jpg

P1000383.jpg

We hurried through the castle, quickly admiring the beautiful Cinderella murals. Then, we were off to Peter Pan's Flight! And wow! Fantasyland was practically empty!

DSCN0262.jpg

We only had to wait a few minutes in line, but here is Grace, Mimi, and Papa, excited to board their pirate ships!

P1000384.jpg

Peter Pan was great! What a classic! Theres always so much to see. I especially love it when you are looking over the streets of London.

We headed out of that attraction, and where do you think we would head to next?

Why of course, this lovely attraction, what a Small World!

DSCN0263.jpg

Papa opted not to go on this one. Probably a smart choice if you didn't want to have, "It's Small World after all, It's a Small World After All, It's A Small World After All, It's a Small World After All!" Stuck in your head for the rest of the day! Oh darn, now it's stuck in my head again!! :scared1:

So, the rest of our group stepped into line. Wait, what line? Oh right, there WAS no line! HA, gotta love small world.

WOAH! Look at that line behind us!

DSCN0264.jpg

Haha, see what I mean?

We boarded our happy little boat, and enjoyed the ride. Hey, and this time I actually got a decent picture on this ride! Pictures never seem to come out for me on Small World.

Anyways, here's the hawaiian girls:

P1000395.jpg

We got off, and met up with Papa, and decided we would make our way to Winnie the Pooh. I really wanted to go on this, because I wanted to see the new interactive line.

However, we had to stop for a bathroom break.

I got a shot of Papa and Grace waiting patiently by the Dumbo ride.

DSCN0266.jpg

Mom and I surveyed the painting of the new FantasyLand. My family is VERY excited for this to open, and of course I'm ecstatic too!! Here is a shot of the painting:

DSCN0267.jpg

After everyone was ready, we went to Winnie the Pooh:

DSCN0269.jpg

Mom by the cute little door:

P1000404.jpg

And Grace standing by the mailbox. It was all very cute!

DSCN0270.jpg

We got in line, which was very short since the park had just opened a little while ago. I thought the new line was EXTREMELY cute! And I thought it was great how Disney made this, knowing this ride's lines get long and kids get bored, so they had something to preoccupy them. I also loved the honey thing on the wall.

Here's Birthday Boy!

P1000407.jpg

The ride was great, and I even found the picture of Mr.Toad handing the deeds to Owl. Yet sadly I did not get a picture of it...we went by too fast. But hey!..at least I found it!!

Here's cuddly little Pooh:

P1000411.jpg

After Winnie the Pooh, we went straight to TomorrowLand, and Grace REALLY wanted to go on the Indie Speedway, so Mom and Mimi went with her. Me, Papa, and Dad went and got FPs for Space Mountain...although Mimi and Papa decided they didn't want to try that.

After the 3 ladies got off the Speedway, we headed for Buzz's Space Ranger Spin, and had a great time! I sat with Mom and beat her, HA! :woohoo:

We had a little bit of time before our SM FPs, so we went to Carousel of Progress. My family LOVES this ride! This time after we saw the future part(which suprisingly seems to look like the 80'/90's), there was a problem so we had to watch the WHOLE things over again! It was very funny!

We were finally able to get off, and we headed to SM. We were going to part ways with Mimi and Papa, and meet with them again for lunch at Cosmic Rays.

We got on SM quickly and had a great time! Although, whenever I ride it a HAVE to duck my head down. Ever since Dad told me last year that I could get decapitated, I always do it. Oh, and now I have Grace doing it too!

Afterwards, we met Mimi and Papa at Cosmic Rays, and had a very yummy lunch! It consisted of chicken strips, ribs, and a chicken breast.\

We were really breezing along! We stepped into Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, and up on the screen shone Mimi's face! Apparantly she "doesn't know there's a monster under her seat!" That just cracked us all up, and Mimi just had NO idea! She was completely clueless of the whole thing! We had really hoped that Papa could be "That Guy" but sadly he wasn't. Although, when we all walked out of the theater, "That Guy", stepped on the back of my shoe, and I almost tripped! He better go buy me a churro! ;)

We had to head back to the hotel soon, because we wanted an afternoon pool break. We also had ADR's at Tutto Italia tonight, and needed time to get ready for that! So, we made our way down Main Street, and stopped in a few stores.

Dad and I bought one ice cream cookie sandwich from the Main Street Bakery, and split it in half. YUM!

Then, ready to hit the pool, we hopped on the bus, and hurried back to AKL!

Coming up Next....

Tanti auguri a te!! (Happy Birthday to you!)

I am really enjoying your report and pictures. I am so excited for my trip in October. I really want the same view you had at Jambo House. My fingers are crossed for the same studio.....

Be safe tomorrow as Irene passes on by and I look forward to reading more.

Just catching up on your report. It looks like everyone is having a great time. I can't wait til my next trip in January.

Thank you, we did have a great time! And when are you going in January? I'm going in January too!

I am really enjoying your report and pictures. I am so excited for my trip in October. I really want the same view you had at Jambo House. My fingers are crossed for the same studio.....

Be safe tomorrow as Irene passes on by and I look forward to reading more.

Thank you! And my room number was: 5458...maybe you could request that? My grandparents had about the same view as well, and their room number was: 5470.

And thank you for the concern of the hurricane...be safe as well!

When I had left off, we were on our way back to AKL to enjoy an afternoon in the pool!

Once we had gotten back, we got in our bathing suits and went down to the pool. It was very crowded, and there was a pool party going on. I happened to notice that they did these parties every day in the afternoon. They looked like a lot of fun!

Me and Grace went down the slide for a bit, and swam around in the hot pool.

Mom and Dad enjoying the pool. Gosh,I really enjoyed this waterproof camera!

P1000413.jpg

After spending a few hours in the pool, we went up to the room, took showers, and then met Mimi and Papa at the bus for Epcot. Hopefully, it wouldn't rain tonight..because we REALLY wanted to see Illuminations! Plus, it can't rain on Papa's birthday!

Once in Epcot, we realized that we didn't have much time to get to Italy...and we wouldn't make it there on foot. So, lucky us, a Friendship boat was just pulling up so we headed over to it.

Although, before we did, Dad stopped and got my picture with Minnie sewing Duffy. And, Im wondering....what is this Duffy business? Who is he?

DSCN0272.jpg

We squeezed onto a very crowded boat. Uh oh...it looked as if it was going to rain!

Mom relaxing on the Friendship boat...

DSCN0273.jpg

We all hopped off the boat with plenty of time to spare! Oh well, that means we can look in the Italy shops!

Dad took our pictures as we stumbled off the boats...almost like celebrities? Although..we sure don't like like them!

DSCN0274.jpg

DSCN0275.jpg

And we had finally arrived in beautiful Italy.

DSCN0278.jpg

We looked in the shop, and I reminded Mom NOT to buy a glass mickey mouse head shaped ornament in Italy!

*The story behind this*...Well about 2 years before this trip, Mom bought a beautiful Mickey Mouse head shaped glass ornament in this Italian shop...THEN last summer...we happened to see it...and thought it was SO adorable...and bought it again. Soo..this Xmas when we unwrapped our ornaments..we noticed we had 2 of the same ornaments...exactly the same. Uh oh... so safe to say we were making sure we didn't forget we already had TWO! and not buy another!

Anways...we looked around the shops, and I admired the little mask store. I don't think it had been in the inside shops last summer.

I especially liked this mask of the cat:

P1000415.jpg

After leaving the store, we still had plenty of time to spare, so I took a picture of Grace standing up on the tower. Of course, she almost killed herself gettng up it. Soo..that made the picture more worth it! :thumbsup2

P1000416.jpg

I let Mimi take a picture of me standing up on it:

P1000417.jpg

Then I got a picture of the tower itself...notice the VERY dark clouds forming over it? Veeerry suspicious...

P1000418.jpg

I finally talked Dad into getting into a picture!

P1000419.jpg

It was time for our ADR at Tutto Italia..so we made our way in, and were seated immediately. We had a very nice waiter. Once seated, we gave Papa all his birthday presents and cards, and decorated the table with a birthday banner.

No one would notice we had a birthday at our table now, right? ;)

The waiter got our picture of us sitting at the table:

P1000420.jpg

I noticed a lot of people coming in, in raincoats and I was very worried. Illuminations can't be cancelled, right!?!?

For dinner, Dad ordered lasagna, Mom and Papa got something I can't recall, and Me, Grace, and Mimi got the fettucine alfredo. Everything was DELICOUS! Best dinner yet! For dessert, I got gelato, and Grace got a cannoli.

Take a look at the cannoli she got! Awesome, right!?

P1000422.jpg

By the end of dinner, all of the workers came out and sang happy birthday to Papa in Italian...and he loved it! He even pretended to be the composer with his hands! It was just hilarious!

I thought that Tutto Italia was amazing. The food was to die for, and our waiter was fantastic. He went above a beyond!

I would most definetely give Tutto Italia a 10/10! Top score! :thumbsup2

After dinner, our luck kept coming, because the rain had stopped and Illuminations was still on! Yay! :woohoo:

So, we headed over to find a spot!

Coming up Next...

"We Go On"...even for Extra Magic Hours!

Well, it seems I will be hung up in this house for awhile because of Hurricane Irene...so why not just work on this some more?

As I had said, we were on our way looking for a spot to watch Illuminations! Yes! My favorite show! I even own the whole soundtrack!

We found a spot down by France, right on the water. A perfect spot. Now all we had to do is wait!

Here's Mom and Grace bored out of their minds!

P1000429.jpg

The show began, and we all loved every minute of it!

Afterwards, I had talked Dad into going to MK's EMH tonight. I had never stayed for latenight EMH, and I was SO excited!

Everyone else wanted to go back, so me and Dad made our way to the monorail. Although, our idea was shortlived, when we saw the disgustingly long line. But, we quickly found out, that we could take a bus to the Ticket and Transportantion center, and then take a monorail to MK.

It was a bit of a journey, but we would try it! There was no one in the makeshift line, but as people came back asking us if they could get to MK from here we said yes....we didn't want to be the only ones in line!

But the bus came quickly, and soon we were at MK. It had all worked out!

But oddly enough, the park was extremely crowded! There were tons and tons of little kids there...like babies! Late at night?

Well, anyways, we headed towards the Jungle Cruise, and got to ride it in the dark! It was so much better! I would definetely recommend going on this at night...it was spooky.

We wanted to go to BTM now, before the 11:00 MSEP got there. Once we got there, we noticed BTM was 40 minutes..that was odd? We hopped in line anyways, and ended up waiting only 10 minutes. Sure enough, when we got off, the wait was now 15 minutes.

So, we went on Splash Mountain, and sat front seat! The view before the big drop was gorgeous with the castle. Me and Dad got soaking wet!! The parade had just left Frontierland, and we headed over to HM. Again, it was great! And there was no one there! We even got to go through the interactive line, which was very cool.

Afterwards, it was gettin pretty late, so we watched Mickey's Philharmagic, then decided we would leave MK after. It was already 1:00!

I got this picture of the castle from behind at night:

We headed out of MK, and then rode a freezing cold bus back to AKL. We were back in our room around 2 am, and soon fast asleep!

Around the world in one day!

Alright, time to begin Day 5! Here's my number for today:

P1000365.jpg

Today, we were going to go to the WS, and then go to an ADR at Cape May. Since the WS doesn't open until 11, we were going to have a nice day to sleep late. We took our time, looked around the hotel, and Mom did some laundry.

We were dressed and on the bus, around 11, and soon at Epcot. Grace and Dad had gotten a CS breakfast, but me and Mom were starving!

Therefore, when we got to Mexico first, we went over to share a CS. We had never tried the CS here, but I had heard it was very good, so I was excited!
We ordered the empanadas with nachos, churros, and fruit punch soda. It was DELICIOUS! Probably the best CS i had all trip! I would definetely go back there!

Afterwards, we met Mimi and Papa inside the Mexico building. Mom, Dad, Mimi, and Papa got drinks at the bar, and I made Grace try on the sombrero!

Here is Papa and Dad enjoying their drinks in Mexico:

We looked around a bit, but sadly didn't end up going on the boat ride! :guilty:

Grace got a bracelet here, and I got one of those wood animals...a pink cat! It was adorable!

Grace and Dad outside of Mexico:

We were soon out of Mexico, and on our way to Norway! One of my favorites!

Grace and I in front of the Stave Church, that Dad always makes us look in!

DSCN0286.jpg

I find that most of the vikings in the Stave Church resemble the characters in the Lord of the Rings movies!

A picture of the grass on top of the roof:

Mimi and Papa went to buy a CS lunch there and Mom went with them to get an almond pretzel, so Dad, Grace, and I took a few pictures around Norway.

The Viking statue:

Me in front of the Maelstrom ride! I can't wait to go on this one!

DSCN0292.jpg

We met up with the rest of our group at the eating area after, and the funniest thing happened! A squirrel came over to Mimi, and she began feeding it from her hands! Like, she would hold a piece of bread in her hand, and the squirrel came over and ate it out of it! I'm sure it was the highlight of Mimi's trip! She probably sat there for 30 minutes feeding it!

Here's Mimi and the squirrel!

DSCN0296.jpg

While we were waiting for them to finish eating..Mom, Dad, and I went to the shops in Norway.

Here's Dad holding a sword and shield...he tries to look menacing!

Dad wanted to go buy Mom the Leila perfume for her birthday, so I had to divert over to a different area, so she wouldn't see!

Here's the giant troll I told her to stand in front of, while Dad was buying her present.

Mimi and Papa were finally ready, so we made our way over to Maelstrom! We waited in only a 10 minute line, and were soon in our viking boats. We heard the familiar, "You are not the first to pass this way...nor shall you be the last!"...I LOVE that line!

After the ride, we had to really usher Dad through the movie theater. It was very hard, because he loves the movie...but majority rules, and we didn't really want to see the 80's-90's people for the 6th time!! We had finally finished Norway, and were on our way to China!

The rest of our journey around the WS will be continued in the next post!

Raincoats are lifesavers!!

Okay, so when I had left off, we were all heading to China! Here's me and Grace just appoaching China.

DSCN0297.jpg

We were starting to rush, because we felt we wouldn't have enough time to see all of the countries in our limited time before dinner. This was our only day we would be going to WS..unless you didn't count some more dinners we will have here. Therefore, we were in "get everything done" mode!

Dad snapped a couple pictures of China's beautiful buildings.

Before stepping into the large shop, Mom got my picture with some stone thing outside. Yes, I know that is VERY descriptive!

P1000443.jpg

We looked around in the shops, and I found the Chinese baby dolls that me and Grace had boughten when we were younger! Oh, the things you buy at Disney!

Here's a shot of Mom holding a cute stuffed panda...I believe this was her cast picture too!

P1000444.jpg

Mom and I in front of yet another statue! They sure have alot of those!

DSCN0304.jpg

Without feeding into my temptations, we left China, and walked through the pointless African area. I mean seriously, what IS the point of this? It's not even an official country...it's just...there. I mean, the only good thing to do there is, well, to bang on the drums!

DSCN0309.jpg

We stopped in Germany somewhere along the way, but only briefly, because we would be coming back here on Biergarten night. We did, however, get the delicious pretzels, and Dad bought a Biergarten shirt to wear the night we go there!

Grace was bored while everyone looked around...the countries aren't exactly her cup of tea!

P1000445.jpg

When we came up to America, Mimi and Papa wanted to see the American Adventure, so we split up, and decided we would keep going through the countries.

Next stop was Japan! I took this really cool picture looking up!

P1000446.jpg

We waited in line, and me and Grace got some yummy cherry Kaki Gori to share. If that's how you spell it?

DSCN0317.jpg

Then we went to the huge department store. Dad and I stood and watched the Pick a Pearl for at least 20 minutes! I swear, some day I'm really going to do that! It looks like so much fun, and those girls that do it really make your pearl seem important. We had been so wrapped up in the pearl picking, that we hadn't noticed it had started to POUR! Oh no! Not again!

We thought maybe we could wait it out just a bit longer in Japan, in case it would be just a quick downpour. Meanwhile, Dad took my picture by a statue.

DSCN0321.jpg

We soon realized the rain would not be letting up anytime in the near future, so we pulled on those lovely, plastic-smelling raincoats, and braved the rain. Just so you can have a perspective of how rainy it was...here are some pictures Dad took of it.

DSCN0319.jpg

DSCN0320.jpg

The moment I stepped out, my feet sank in the water, so all of us girls held our flip flops in our hands, and walked barefoot.

We came to Morocco, and ducked inside. There was very loud music playing, and shouting going on in the center room. I figured maybe the belly dancers were out, so we went to take a peek. But indeed it was not. There were a group of older ladies and men, who clearly must have been Morrocan themselves, who were dancing around in a HUGE group, wearing the Fez's an belly dancer hats. And let me tell you, they seemed to be having a REALLY good time! It was very crowded though, so after a few minutes, we had to face the rain again, and we booked it to France.

Mom and Dad got the Grand Marnier drink, and we looked around for a few minutes. Although, it was a very short look, because the stores were FREEZING, and we were shivering in our wet raincoats. The rain still had not let up!

We finally found ourselves in England, and Mimi and Papa were to meet us here, and we would all head to the BC.

They were there in a few minutes, and finally the rain had stopped! I swear, I would be happy to never see another raincoat in my life!

We gathered up our group, and then began the path down to the BC, after a long day in Epcot!

A nighttime show! Can you guess what it could be? I'll give you a hint..."Some Imagination, Huh?"

I just caught up with all of your updates! You and Grace have the cutest outfits. :goodvibes Great picture of the Wishes finale - it's so colorful!

I love the number 3 from The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. :thumbsup2 Also, cool picture of the Land pavilion. I never took one from that angle. I was reading some of the quotes on the wall near Living with the Land while eating food from Sunshine Seasons - they're all so cute!

Your castle pictures are great! The second one especially has a cool perspective. Empty fantasyland is so much fun.

:rotfl: The celebrity pictures are too funny. Tutto Italia! We ate there last summer - SO good! I may just have to make a reservation for November there after seeing your pictures. :wizard: I didn't know they had cannolis. popcorn::

 It was raining hard when you guys were in Japan! It looks pretty in the pictures though.

Can't wait for more, I'm really loving this TR!
