I should have considered the shape of my jelly jars before I purchased them. They weren't quite "flat" enough for the flat rate box.

:teeth: Must have been some FAT jars ;)
I used the 11" X 8.5" X 5.5". (just orderred some more  ...I seem to be going through them fast these days!)
Still wish it would have been a bit larger....that dang bubble wrap took a lot of the room

With confirmation and insurance since my buddy is a long long way from me. I did pack it with peanuts and bubble wrap!!! But if You ( my dear buddy exchange partner) rec with any damage do tell Okie dokie !!!

(to the person who got stuck with my name :rotfl2: )"Dear Buddy" don't panic. I will be on vacation starting at 12 midnite tonight and will be back on the 3rd so I will pick up my stuff on Oct. 4th... thanks !!! I would need all the sugar I can find when I come back from the Mouseland to console my soul for I have to start counting from scratch again for the next vacation....

I guess that I didn't know that there are flat rate mailers that are that large. I just used a box that I had lying about the house. Oh well. At least I got the jelly JAMMED into the box and in the mail.

Just go to your post office and those boxes are free.
As long as no jars are broken and the exchange gets there, it's all good. :goodvibes

Or go to the website and order them. They come in packs of 25 and are delivered to you free :teeth:

Any news today?
Yes, and I'm on a roll, first to post mailing and now first to post receiving! :rotfl:

Towncrier sent me a jar of violet and lavender jelly and a jar of sweet purple basil jelly both made by Crooked River Herb Farm. He also sent me two DIS pins with my DIS name and my name on them. There was also a brochure about Crooked River Farm, one about planting herbs, and one about Peninsula, OH.

Thank you, John! Can't wait to try the jellys! And I immediately showed my husband my DIS pins. Told him that I am all ready for another trip to Disney World. :teeth:
