So Friday night we were blessed with Disney on Ice tickets thru the Starlight Foundation, and Jake of course was beside himself the whole time. Here are some pictures...

Ok...You guys are going to think I am crazy.

But I had no idea that Disney on Ice meant Disney Characters on ice skates?!?! I thought it was like a Disney musical themed sort of event? Like regular people, in regular ice clothes, skating to Disney music.

How, oh how, do I get tickets to this?!?

He looks like he is having such a GREAT time! It looks like it was a magical performance. And a great precursor to an awesome trip!

You can also offer any advice, pointers, etc from the MAW perspective on that thread, too! We are always having questions about the process, etc...so any help you could give us would be awesome.

Wow That smile!! Everytime I see pics of Jake I cannot help but have a big ol' Goofy grin on my face and tears in my eyes, for the pure joy that radiates from this child!

OMG... You totally brought tears to my eyes...thank you so much. Yes when it comes to Disney, this is the face we always get... If you ask Jake what makes him happy, he will look at you and say " Disney World".

First of all, Christine, I just have to tell you how absolutely adorable both of your children are! That picture of Jakob with the mickey ears on is too cute!

Second, thank you Maroo for the warm disboards welcome I appreciate it! I've been volunteering with Make-A-Wish for about a year and a half now and I love it. I'm a wish granter and I was able to grant my first wish in December. Wouldn't you know it, his wish was to go to WDW! This was meant to be! I can only imagine what an unbelievable experience being granted a wish must be for families, but as a volunteer, I can't even begin to express how redeeming it is to be able to be a part of the wish granting process! I will do my best to answer anybody's questions and can't wait to grant more wishes through this amazing foundation.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Christine!
