Oh man, I cannot wait to try Flying Fish! I don't like fishy fish either, hoping I don't lose my nerve on trying the Snapper!
Congrats on your engagement! Yay for another 2011 Disney Bride! In all honesty Ive been secretly dreaming about a Disney wedding for years, all thanks to the wonderful Disbrides on the wedding forum.I have some preliminary stuff planned. My DF wants to have the ceremony at the Wedding Pavilion (I always thought Id have the ceremony at Sea Breeze Point), Id love to have the reception at California Grill, followed by an Illuminations Dessert Party. Were hoping to have around 20 guests so Im not sure if it will be cheaper to go with an Escape or the Wishes package. Things will probably change as we get closer. Its so hard because you cant really have anything 100% planned until 1 year to 8 months out with Disney. Have you check out Carries (Lurkyloos) Disney Weddings and Honeymoons e-book? Its excellent!
Its helped me so much with my preliminary planning.
I forgot to mention that Yoshi is the sushi chef at California Grill. It would have been neat if it was Yoshi from Nintendo.![]()
Hi Jaclyn!
Congrats on your engagement! Loving your dining reviews so far, and happy that your trip was so magical! My DH and I actually celebrated our honeymoon there last year at the same time!
Can't wait to read more!

I had that shrimp dish last month and it was awesome and I was shocked at the amount of shrimp in that dish! Incredible!
Great review on Flying Fish. I've never had the desire to eat there though. Not sure why....
You two are such a cute couple!
My favourite sushi place is the Ginza chain. They have a few locations throughout the GTA. I'm not sure where you are located but I'm sure any of the locations wouldn't be too far a drive for you. Here is their website You can see menus and pictures (just like Disney!) Give them a try when you can. Their sushi is consistently good and fresh.
If you're looking for an all-you-can-eat sushi place, there's one off Yonge Street, south of Highway 7, called "V.I.P. sushi". Good place if you are in the mood for lots of sushi! The service is sub-par but their food is quite good. It's cheaper to go during the week than it is on the weekends.
Thanks for the info on Tokyo Dining. I'll be paying OOP with my TIW card (do they accept that there?) so no problemo with ordering off the sushi menu. I'm glad to hear that their sushi is good. Especially coming from a fellow sushi loverCan't wait to give it a try!
Have to agree the White Chocolate Creme Brulee was hands down the best creme brulee I've ever had!![]()
I am a creme brulee FREAK and a white chocolate FREAK - can't believe I'm going to miss it!! Can't fit in FF this trip - next time I guess![]()
I do have Carrie's book, I love it, I only just got the updated one though so I'm re-reading it. Just reading it makes me feel organised!
That Creme-brulee looks so good! If I had the money I swear I'd open up a store in town here that just sold yummy deserts!
Hi!
Its funny I always eat my breakfast while reading dining reviews. It always makes me wish I was eating something better than a bagel.
Morning - just had my oatmeal and back for more lovely pics of food![]()

Flying Fish looks so yummy. Thank you for all the wonderful pictures.
Mmmm, whenever I see the Red Snapper, my mouth waters!
What a great engagement story - and a lovely thought for your parents to go to all that trouble to 'take you out to celebrate!"
I'm enjoying both your tale and your reviews!
Congrats! How sweet of your DF! Your ring is beautiful! How sweet of your parents to help you celebrate your engagement. Loving all your reviews and looking forward to hearing more.
Hey! WGPE looks so good. We are going to have breakfast there one morning on our next trip.
So are you guys planning on having a DFTW?
