Jackie and Chris's Wishes Wedding 1/6/12: SBP/Attic/SCP 5/11 Final Post- PJ Finished

Even though I saw it on facebook, that ring is so beautiful! I think it looks fantastic with your engagement ring!

The hair clips are really cute too. I let my bridesmaids choose how they wanted their hair done, and one of my girls had clips like that that she had put in by the hairdresser. It looked really fabulous! I don't think it would be too much for you to do all of it. Here is what hers looked like (it's the best angle I could find, couldn't find one just of the back!):

Are you thinking about doing it all up, or half up, or are you not really sure?

And yay for getting the RSVPs! And I can't wait to see the tea all put together!

Jackie sweetie - Yay for the lovely favours and yay for Jane Austen tea and yay for having a good interview and yay for the RSVPs coming in and yay for the stunningly gorgeous ring.......in fact a big yay :yay:for everything!!!! It is all coming together beautifully now!!!

Thank you, Joanne. You are the sweetest person ever. :D

Thanks for the feedback! I've been thinking of doing something like this for my hair:

7d50d8502ce56e529131f215eb5cdae2_s

except fuller and more along my shoulders, if that makes sense? I'm a little lost on what to do with my hair! I know I don't want it up because I HATE how I look with my hair up! So basically the above style, but less...fussy.

Love your wedding ring!! You are getting so close its very exciting. Also, that hairstyle is very pretty.....I think it would look lovely with your gown.

Yes, I love that hair picture you posted! I think that would look gorgeous! I'm with you, I'm not really a big fan of updo's, but I think the inspiration pic is a really nice combination of part up but still down, know what I mean? I think that would really work :goodvibes

Your wedding ring is gorgeous! And those clips are really cute, I think they'll look lovely with that hair inspiration you posted. Also not a fan of up-dos... so I think that photo is really beautiful. :)

I totally love the Jane Austen tea, I may have to get some that for myself and hold my own Jane Austen tea party! It's such a clever idea, and it's going to be such a special favour for your wedding! Love it!

I just started reading your PJ and I noticed that we have the same wedding dress! You look beautiful in it! We also have the same wedding planner.

I don't like wearing my hair up AT ALL, either. My hair is really long and I've decided I'm going to have it styled into really loose waves like a picture I found in a bridal magazine. I'm not a big fan of full-blown curls and I always straighten my hair, so I thought that would be perfect wedding day hair for me.

That makes 3! I wore the Alfred Angelo Cinderella dress too :) It's to die for!

Jackie I love checking in on you! Now that my wedding is over I must live vicariously through you! Love the hair, love everything. Savor every moment and I can't wait to see and hear more!!! :grouphug:

Thank you very much! I'm growing more and more attached to the hair as I look at it..

Thanks! You girls are making me feel more confident. :D

Thanks! And they have SO much cool tea at www.bingleysteas.com (I'm not affiliated with them or anything LOL!) They have tea that is "inspired" by various characters so the tea matches their personalities. I love Jane Austen so much.

Thank you! I LOVE the Cindy dress, don't you? I also LOVE Christy... she's awesome. She answers emails SO quickly. And I think loose-wave curls will also look great; that's the other style I was debating between too. You'll look lovely either way.

I LOVE reading about your wedding. I posted a comment on your website today, but I am not entirely sure if it went through! :lmao:

Hello Jackie!!

Just wanted to drop in! Love that hairstyle. I picked out a similar one when I was trying to decide.

Of course you know I didn't go with that one... but whatever! :rotfl:

Love that you're starting to get RSVPs back. That's great!! Me and Charley have decided we're just going to come down there and stalk your wedding and reception. After all, we do know the way to the back entrance for The Attic. If you see someone walking back and forth taking pics, that would be us!! :rotfl:

Just catching up :goodvibes

Your ring is so beautiful and twinkly :lovestruc

I really like the inspiration pic for your hair, I'm another one who doesn't like hair up. I think you'll so stunning with your hair like that. I can't wait to see it all together. xx

Thank you! I'm glad I'm not the only person who doesn't like wearing their hair up. I went and picked up my Cinderella dress today, and I absolutely love it! We have good taste! :cutie: Christy is awesome, too!

OMG JENNIFER! You are the BEST! I am going to use that hair style for my Epcot photoshoot!!!!! :cool1: I wanted something with braids, and that's PERFECT!!! But, I want my sparklies in there too. Awesome!!! <3

Just catching up :goodvibes

:goodvibes I wanna see you in your dress! Jennifer, above, ALSO has our dress--- that's FOUR cindy brides!

************************************
So, I don't have anything terribly groundbreaking to report, BUT Chris and I have started taking dance lessons! I had a groupon for 2 lessons and a practice party, and we've used the first 2 lessons, and we actually booked another 5. It was terribly expensive, but I thinkkkk it's worth it. We've learned the basic steps for the waltz, foxtrot, and something called a "push pull" (which I know I will NEVER use haha!), and we learned how to twirl last night, which was pretty cool. We have to have our first dance song chosen by tomorrow's lesson, and then we're going to work out a routine and most likely PERFORM it in front of people--- eekkk!!!

Chris is SUCH a good sport, haha! :lovestruc He's really shy and gets really nervous, but he's being good and trying. (I think it's partly because he just finished playing the new Batman game and he was ignoring me for awhile there...) I really like our teacher too; I told her she reminded me of a non-forgetful Dory, which is totally a compliment.

Other than that, I am still awaiting my Jane Austen tea--- my paypal address was still set to my dad's, and so I'm waiting for HIM to mail it to me, and he's really lazy. Blah.

So, I have scrapped my dreams of my Swarovski necklace--- I know I could wheedle Chris into getting it for me for Christmas, but I'd rather have Pandora! I also purchased the necklace from an ebay seller and never got it, so I'm currently in an ebay dispute. (Which is just a hassle!) So, I think I'm going to go with this one:

635993

It's one of the Disney Cinderella necklaces, and the Shopping Channel has it for a pretttyyy good price. It's pretty, and it matches my earrings really well.

Other than that... did you girls know I leave for WDW in 69 days, and I'm getting MARRIED in 72?!?!

Aww, the dance lessons sound like so much fun! When I studied at Oxford I joined their ballroom dance club for beginners and I got to learn all of those basic dances, it was a blast! I'm glad Chris is being a good sport about it :)

I think that necklace is beautiful, and it will look great with your dress. Sorry about the ebay dispute, that is such a hassle :(

Woohoo! 72 days, that doesn't sound like many at all!!

:yay: So glad you like the hairstyle!! It's very pretty. I didn't want it because I knew I would get hot. My hair is pretty long. But if you use it for your Epcot shoot, that will be early the morning... plus you're getting married in Jan!! :rotfl: Not that hot anyway.. even in FL!!

Yes I wore Cinderella!! It was beautiful.. if I do say so myself! The dress photographs really well!

I like the necklace you've picked out. It's really pretty!

And dance lessons.. :dance3: How cool is that?!?! I bet it's hilarious!! :rotfl2: I know it would be if it was me and my DH!!!

I can't believe it's almost time for your wedding! I'm super excited, so I can only imagine how you feel!!! I keep trying to come up with excuses to be in DW in Jan. :lmao:

Well, let's try this again....I had a response written and one of our cats, Yaz, walked across the laptop and managed to delete it all. If he wasn't so cute, he would be in real trouble.

Jackie,

Just catching up after being away.

Everything looks fabulous. Wow! Can't believe you are getting so close. :cool1:

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the guestbook. So much so, that I think we are going to do one too. :lmao: Hope you don't mind. It is just so perfect.

You look fabulous in your blue dress. Glad it all worked out for you.

Sorry about the necklace. That stinks! Really like the new one though. Hope the dispute gets resolved quickly.

Didn't get to wish you luck before your interview, but will cross my fingers till the 8th that you get what you want.

Ooohh that sounds like fun! I'm starting to wish Chris and I had done the community center/club route... buttt it probably wouldn't have gone so well because Chris is super-shy.

I picked this as my hair inspiration as well!!!

Yay! It's SO pretty!

Yeah, I ALWAYS wear my hair down; never up--- sometimes not even at the gym! (You know, when I make it to the gym, which has not been happening lately. I refer to my gym membership fee as my "fat tax." :lmao:

And dancing IS hilarious. We just giggle at each other--- which I guess is better than yelling!

AND YOU SHOULD FIND AN EXCUSE TO STALK MY WEDDING!

Well, let's try this again....I had a response written and one of our cats, Yaz, walked across the laptop and managed to delete it all. If he wasn't so cute, he would be in real trouble.

So glad you're back, Beth! I hope you had an amazing vacation. I won't mind if you use the guestbook at ALL because I stole it from Danielle!!! And thank you for keeping your fingers crossed--- I'm starting to get very anxious!!!

Yay I love catching up on your planning! I am totally with you on huge weddings...how do people do it??? As you know I had a ton of family (and other ugh) drama and I only had 18 guests. Not sure what is wrong with people, it's like they all want to do what they want to do instead of what you NEED them to do. Just rest assured everything will work out and your wedding will be beautiful!
