I think this update is very exciting! Good luck with your interview! I subbed in a lower income school district last year and it was really tough. I think being a sub in general is hard though so when you add that in it just makes things tougher. I got glimpses of some of the things teachers do to turn those kids around though and it's so inspiring. I hope you get the placement you want!
And every time I read your PJ I feel like I find something else that we have in common! I also hate talking on the phone (with the exception of a few people such as my best friend, my mom, and Jason). Having to call someone for business or something? It requires a few deep breaths before I can dial that number.
I love the favors, I'm so glad you got them! And Jane Austen tea? That is just too cool! Of course I'm going to encourage you to get it

We should get together and have a Jane Austen tea party

I missed my chance when I was in England - I visited Bath for a day where they do all sorts of Jane Austen events, but it was while Jason was visiting and he has a bit of a dislike for Jane Austen so we did other stuff instead

Poor guy just doesn't get it - though I tried to turn his mind around by giving him a copy of Pride and Prejudice for Valentine's Day - a "personalized" edition that had replaced Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy's names with our own names!
Thank you so much for your well wishes, Becky! I couldn't imagine being a substitute--- it just looks SO difficult. Kudos to you! And I -hate- the phone, but I am always the one who has to make phone calls, because Chris hates it even more than I do.
And OMG I WANT TO GET CHRIS A PERSONALIZED P AND P! But he wouldn't appreciate it.

And it's so surprising to me that they do Austen events in Bath! I suppose it's because a lot of her characters go there, but she HATED Bath. I would have gone with you.
Thanks for updating!!

I'm glad you did (even though I knew most of it! XD)
You're welcome, sukka.
Oh my gosh Jackie I've missed so much!
I love your guestbook, it's fab!
Your DF did a great job with the invites, they're great.
Your blue dress is lovely, you look great in it.
As I write this I just realised that tomorrow is your final interview for Teach for America, so I wish you good luck and lots of pixie dust, not that you'll need it.
Thank you so much! I can't wait to read all about your wedding, you lovely bride!

Real-Life Update: Hi girls! I had my interview today! I think it went pretty well, but I don't want to jinx it. It was a long morning and afternoon, and I was pretty stressed out, but I'm mostly just glad it's DONE, you know?! I find out November 8th I think, so just keep your fingers crossed for me until then.

I also decided to wait until after the interview to update this PJ so it gave me something to look forward to.
Now, onto the good stuff! On Friday night, I got the call that my lovely, amazing, sparkly wedding ring had come in and was ready, so on Saturday DF and I went to pick it up. Some of you have seen this on facebook already, but I am in love.
And here is the ring up against my engagement ring. (Please excuse my stubby little fingers; my dad says I have pygmy hands!

)
I just can't wait to wear it for forever!
I also bought these snazzy hairclips to put throughout my hair at Claire's. (Don't you love going in there? DF tried to get me to buy a Justin Beiber rubber bracelet.) I like them because they're snowflakes, and we're getting married in January. Even though it's WDW, it's still a winter wedding!

Do you think the sparkly hairclips will be too much with a veil AND a tiara? I'm only going to wear the veil for the ceremony. I haven't exactly figured out what I want to do with my hair yet, but I will soon. What are your thoughts?!
I also ended up ordering the "Longbourn Wedding Tea" from the Jane Austen tea website, and I bought some cute little boxes for it. I'll show you all pictures, of course, when it's all put together. I'm just excited to have another project!
Also, look what has started to come in! (Please ignore Smokey--- he's wondering why he can't come.)

People have started having fun coloring in the Mickey ears. We've gotten one "no," from my maternal grandfather, but I knew he was a no because he's 87 years old. He included a snippy little note with it though--- like what the heck! I'm pretty sure I'm the only person in the world who would have a snippity little old man grandfather. That's okay, my other grandfather (you know, the one who is putting us up in DVC hotels for 11 nights!) makes up for it.
That's all I have for today, girls (and the occasional stray male!). Hope your week is going well!
