Jackie and Chris's Wishes Wedding 1/6/12: SBP/Attic/SCP 5/11 Final Post- PJ Finished

So I have been HORRIBLE at responding to your TR! The truth is I read them, but then I don’t respond. Please forgive me I am lazy and I NEED help!

-I love the name of your car, it’s so original. I just got a new car, maybe you can help me name it.
- Your room was so pretty. Thank you for taking pictures of it, I think we might stay there next time.
- Chipmunks in space! Lol :rotfl2:
- I can’t believe your grandparents were so close to your room!!!!!!!! That SUCKS!!!!! ( on the trip when Peter proposed we had a connecting room with my grandparents, needless to say we had to be very quite lol)
- I am so happy to hear that Lacy has stepped up.
- That was so nice of Chris to run back to the room.
- LOVE THE PRINCESS HOODIE! :lovestruc
-The Osborne lights are awesome. I could stare at them for hours.
-Jennifer is right about your red dress! Very sexy and very Jessica Rabbit!
-Ugh with James :headache:
-I don’t like that the meat was hanging at Yachtsman. But the food looks good and I may have to try it.
-That is a really funny story about your dad and the security guard. I can't believe he was going to walk on that thing! :rotfl:
I am on my way to class and will comment on the rest when I get out.

•Ostrich is very yummy, but I am a huge carnivore. :teeth: It's cooked just the teeniest bit, (very pink in the middle-so in my mind very raw), but they do that to keep it tender. It's totally worth it if you are adventurous at Jiko!
•Hooray! It's wedding day! :)
•I love the getting ready pictures...you look like you managed to stay pretty calm. Nothing a mimosa can't fix.
•It DOES take a lot of girls to help a bride in her dress. It's kind of ridiculous. :lmao:
•Eeek, such pretty flowers!
•D'awww, Chris and the guys look so handsome.
•Love the pants story and the picture of your dad strangling Chris.

Yay, more, more! :)

Yay, the wedding day!!

* I totally understand the feeling of nerves. I had no nerves at all about getting married to Jason, but I was just nervous that day because of the wedding I guess. I still don't really know why, but I've never felt that nervous in my life.
* Yeah Backstreet Boys!
* :lmao: at Martin! He sounds hilarious, probably a good way to laugh and get rid of some nerves. Glad you had a Martin to brighten your day too ;)
* Your hair looks so great!
* The by the windows shots are really pretty.
* Umm yeah reading the Faerie Queene is sort of like torture.
* Funny that you say that you don't have any pics of the boys getting ready... Jason's aunt was at the hotel where our guys got ready, and took like a million pictures! And it's really nothing too exciting to have pictures of, lol. I'm pretty sure that there are shots of all the guys in their boxers are some point. Somehow I didn't feel the need to share these pics on the dis ;)
* Your hubby looks super handsome in the pics!
* lol when I saw your dad's face in those pics I immediately thought "pirate face" for some reason!

So glad I could make you smile! I make myself smile all of the time.. but it's usually because I've done some dumb ****!! ;)

A few comments for your comments..
-We're taking a May trip already for my bday. I turn 30 on the 4th, so we're leaving that day and coming home on the 7th. I've been trying to convince him to take an additional trip... but then he throws in the fact that I want to buy into DVC, so we should be saving... BLAH!
-I almost want to injure people while waiting in line... You might not want to wait beside me if the lines are long!!!
-Damn TJ Maxx. Gotta love them deals!
-I really swear I'm going to try different things. I've decided to downgrade our dining for my bday trip though. I just can't spend all of that money for 3 huge meals a day. Not when I know I'd be happy eating the damn BBQ sandwich and fries everyday.
-So with that said.. we're not doing Hoop de Doo.. not this time anyway. Maybe for our anniversary. I def want to do it.

On to the Wedding Day!
-Woohoo it's your Wedding Day! I've been waiting foreverrrrrr for this!!!
-I seriously LOLed about Becky destroying your dress!! I can just picture Richelle's dream state...Becky, with her Hello Kitty gloves on.. and a butter knife from the kitchen!!! hahaha
-Thank the Lord no Cindy's were harmed during the recreating of this scene...
-Damn room service! I wanted to do this for the morning of our wedding sooo bad.. but it's kind of hard when you have to get up at 3:15!
-I don't even drink, and those mimosas look delicious!!
-I don't recall reading anything about any Jessica's. Very convenient they had the same name. That's helps out a lot!
-Did you feel like you were going to pass out when they were doing your hair/make-up? I did!
-I WISH you had taken pics of Martin! I feel like we could've made a serious connection...Did you take his words into consideration?! haha
-I LOVE that Chris thought it was a magic trick. Why wouldn't he think that? LOL
-I'm diggin Richelle's hair in that pic! And that damn muffin!
-And again... I love the bouquets. Very, very pretty. That red is so deep and BUtiful!! (cause this is how you spell that word)
-I like your pics by the window! You're tiara looks amazing!
-I love Richelle's dress! It's so darn cute.
-I love that they wouldn't let your Dad in.
-You're soooooooo sparkly!!!!
-Damn Becky!! Check out that ****age!!! LMAO!!! (I'm just majorly jealous over here!)
-The bobble head dance is hilarious! I would've been dying laughing. Were you girls the only ones in here at this time? Cause if not, I would've been laughing even harder!

On to the boys!
-Why don't they know how to snap a pic?
-I can picture Chris getting your Dad dressed, while he stands there with his serial killer look on his face. HAHAHA
-I think your Dad is the pics is great! It shows how they really got along with each other.
-I'm pretty sure they were chasing those birds cause they damn well wanted to.. not because they were told. Don't let them fool you.
-Chris does look very handsome in that one... among others ;)
-I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the pic of your Dad choking Chris. It's THE best!
-And then the serial killer comes in!! AHHHH!!! hahaha Charley always has crazy looks on his face too. I never realized it until I was looking through all of the wedding and honeymoon pics.
-The pics of Chris and his groomsmen are great! I love all of them. I'm so glad you were able to get SOO many pics. I mean you only have like 10 damn albums on FB. lol (There's NO jealousy in my writing)

Can't wait to read more!!!

And I know I said I would branch out on the whole food situation.. but when I read Danielle's comment about the ostrich, and very very pink.. and RAW... I seriously threw up in my mouth a little. Sorry... TMI haha :upsidedow

I love the picture of your dad with Chris! Too funny!

The boy's pictures turned out great (I'm with you on the bird thing!) and can't wait to see moaarrr!

Thanks! I love it too. :D

Yay for extra free time! Loving all the pics. Though now I have to worry that there's gonna be like no pictures of pre-weddingy stuff from the boys. What is it about having male bits that equals not taking pictures of getting ready for important life events? :lmao:

The one of Chris near the reeds just really stands out for me. I'm not sure if that's the Darcy-ish one or the one before it.

And you look so calm and collected in your pics! Did the mimosa help in that aspect? Maybe I should look into that ;)

Guys are SO bad at taking pictures. I think is because his mom is weird and takes pictures of everything and he hates it hardcore. And my dad was as self conscious as a 14 year old girl. :lmao:

And I look calm and collected?!?! I was certainly NOT! Ha! I am glad I appear to be so. :)

Oooh ooh an update :banana: love the patio furniture shots :rotfl2: I now know what to expect in August :thumbsup2 and I may have to order some Bucks Fizz too.

Chris looks soooo handsome and very D'arcy. Cant wait for more.

Yesss patio chairs! We disbrides keep it classy. And the Buck's Fizz (gah, I love that name!) was veryyy tasty.

Your wedding day looks fabulous!

Thanks! :)

So I have been HORRIBLE at responding to your TR! The truth is I read them, but then I don’t respond. Please forgive me I am lazy and I NEED help!

-Oohh I wanna help you name your car! Is it a boy or a girl?
-Yes, stay at BCV! I am an Enabler.
-Chris and I actually didn't have to be... quiet. My grandparents can't hear a darn thing as it is, and they sleep with the TV on. You know, for when Chris and I had our loud monopoly games.
-You gotta get the princess hoodie! I feel like it is part of the disbride uniform now haha.
-Oh and I like the Jessica Rabbit comparison. Good thinkin'.
-Can't wait for more replies: and you really gotta update your PJ!

•Ostrich is very yummy, but I am a huge carnivore. :teeth: It's cooked just the teeniest bit, (very pink in the middle-so in my mind very raw), but they do that to keep it tender. It's totally worth it if you are adventurous at Jiko!

-Do you have pictures of this ostrich? A picture may help sway me one way or another.
-Oh, I was not relaxed. At all.
-When I wrote that, I thought of your getting ready picture and all the girls doing your buttons!

Yay, the wedding day!!

* I totally understand the feeling of nerves. I had no nerves at all about getting married to Jason, but I was just nervous that day because of the wedding I guess. I still don't really know why, but I've never felt that nervous in my life.

-Yes! I don't know why I was so nervous either: I mean, I'm not afraid of public speaking at all. It was weird.
-I thought of your Martin when I had my Martin! He wasn't nearly as... Martinish though... :rolleyes1
-Um, why did you NOT POST THESE BOXER PICS?!?!?!! hahahaha.
-And thank you! Chris is a cutie: although, one of my aunt's friends saw his pictures and demanded to know how old he was. She thought I was robbing the cradle!

So glad I could make you smile! I make myself smile all of the time.. but it's usually because I've done some dumb ****!! ;)

-Yeah, two trips in May might be a lot. Can’t you just move your birthday?!?! Actually, we’ll be there the day after Chris’s birthday: I am going to special order him a pirate cake YARRRR. Don’t tell him though, it’s a secret.
-Definitely do Hoop de Doo at some point! It’s worth it.
-LOL! I died at your imagining of the Becky and the Snow Angel scene. Died.
-I was actually really relaxed when they were doing my hair and makeup: I felt pampered. But I didn’t have to wake up as early as you did!
-Becky texted me when she read your comment about her ****age: she cracked up! Don’t worry, Richelle and I were super jealous too.
-Ha! Yeah, Chris and I were talking about my dad in the pictures: he looks so grumpy, then he chokes Chris and looks happy! Ha!
-And I do have EXACTLY 10 albums on facebook. I’ll bet people were annoyed. Oh well.

Okay: next post, bridal pictures!

Wedding Day, Part 3

So, I stepped outside of the Beach Club Villas lobby: and there were Randy and Christy just waiting for me, which I completely didn't expect!

JC16231-6-12.jpg

I think you can see my surprise, and my happiness.

Randy just started snapping a bunch of pictures: I love the sunlight in this one.

JC16311-6-12.jpg

And Becky was totally trying to hide behind me by carrying my train. As you can tell, Randy is a bit more skilled than she thought.

JC16331-6-12.jpg

We walked through the lobby and went directly outside to take some pictures, and as soon as we stepped outside I was hit with a startling revelation and let out a mighty loud F-bomb...

...THEY TOOK THE CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS DOWN THE NIGHT BEFORE!!!!!!! I was SO looking forward to having wedding pictures next to the Christmas tree and the gingerbread carousel. Sigh. Chris told me later that he saw them taking them down when he got back the night before, but he just didn't have the heart to tell me. I didn't really let it bother me though: in the grand scheme of things, it didn't matter and, unlike the previous mornings, it was warming up.

JC16561-6-12.jpg

JC16651-6-12.jpg

He took some pictures of just Richelle and me

JC16771-6-12.jpg

And Becky said "Oh good! I hate pictures!" "Oh, really?!" said Randy and, naturally, he started taking a series of pictures of her.

Some nice:

JC16691-6-12.jpg

And some that clearly say "REALLY!??!"

JC16741-6-12.jpg

Don't worry, he also got some lovely ones of just Richelle:

JC17101-6-12.jpg

And some of me and "his girl" Becky

JC17061-6-12.jpg

(On a side note, after seeing these pictures, I realized how well my bouquet matched the girls' dresses. I was quite pleased with myself!)

He had us step back further and take some pictures with the Model A in the background. I think these photos are absolutely gorgeous (if I do say so myself).

JC00911-6-12.jpg

JC00961-6-12.jpg

Sometime around here, I was told that I only had a few more minutes to take pictures with Becky and Richelle because they had to get on the van to go to the Boardwalk. I was disappointed, but there wasn't anything I could do about it. But, then they changed their minds, because the Boardwalk's lobby to Seabreeze Point is actually a bit further than the Beach Club to SBP, so they were just going to have the girls walk. Becky was about ready to murder me because her feet were already killing her from her heels, but she was a trooper.

And... pretty artsy photo of my hidden Mickey!

JC01051-6-12.jpg

Is that hidden Mickey standard in the Dis bouquets? I didn't request it, but I loved it.

We took some more pictures with the car in the background

JC17221-6-12.jpg

And then my dad came out and saw me for the first time:

JC17211-6-12.jpg

This series of pictures make me so, so happy I hired Randy as my photographer. I truly believe he knows how to tell a story with his shots. As soon as my dad saw me, he started crying.

JC17281-6-12.jpg

JC17301-6-12.jpg

Becky and Richelle cried "Oh, Ugs!" (My dad's nickname was "Ugs," short for Ugly, but it's what everyone has called him since I was 15. It's a long story haha.) They started tearing up a bit too: I honestly think I was too nervous to shed any tears.

I hope you all don't mind the wedding porn! We took some more car shots, and I am so happy I decided to go with the Model A. It looks absolutely perfect against the Boardwalk's backdrop. Richelle has commented that it's so pretty, it just doesn't look real.

JC17481-6-12.jpg

JC17481-6-12.jpg

I haven't figured out if I like this picture yet. It's cool, but I kind of don't have a body!

JC17831-6-12.jpg

Okay, I still have 10 pages just of pre-ceremony Bridal pictures to sort through, so more of this next time. I also wanted to share my new blog with you all: I created it to help me deal with some of the feelings of grief I have had, and so I didn't have to keep posting it in my PJ. I enjoy sharing my feelings publicly, but realize this is not ALWAYS the place for them. So, this gives all of you the choice to read or not (and I won't be offended if no one reads! :goodvibes): nomatterhowyourheartisgrieving.blogspot.com

Aww, this post got me all kinds of teary!

I love how all the colors compliment each other. The flowers, the dresses, the accents. Perfect!

That first photo with the Model A in the background? Oh my goodness. That looks so amazing.

I'm sure I'm not the only one mentally chanting: more pictures, more pictures! ;)

/
Gosh, you look beautiful girlie!

Your girls look lovely and the pictures of your dad are too sweet. Randy did a great job!

PS. I'm sorry about the Christmas decorations!! When my mom and I were up at WDW for her birthday (1/3-1/6) the decorations were up one night and when we woke up the next day they were gone-- it was so sad!!

Wow! Your photos are simply stunning!

Your bouquet looks stunning with the bms dresses. Beautifully matched up. Both you and the girls look wonderful. I love your pics Randy is amazing.

Aww at your teary Dad, it made me well up and I'm not an emotional girl.

I like the pic where you 'have no body'... it's a nice picture, honestly.

Love the update Jackie! xx

Thank you so much! I didn't really realize how the colors would work until I saw them together: I was quite happy with the result! And I'm totally in love with the Model A--- we should have stolen it.

Thank you!!! :D

Wedding Day, Part 4: More Bridal Piccies!

Randy wanted to know if I wanted to go over to the beach next: but I was wearing Kate Spade velvet shoes so, no, I didn't want to go on the beach! :lmao: We decided to go take some pictures over by the lighthouse instead.

JC18051-6-12.jpg

Having everyone around yell congratulations was such a good feeling: I feel like that's another unique aspect of a Disney wedding. There are SO many people milling around, and you really truly do feel like a princess for the day.

We took some group shots on the dock

JC18151-6-12.jpg

And some of just me too

JC18301-6-12.jpg

JC18421-6-12.jpg

As I was taking these, Becky and Richelle were mostly just standing there, and Becky decided that it was time for the shoes to go:

JC18541-6-12.jpg

So then, of course, Randy needed some barefeet photos too!

JC18581-6-12.jpg

Just some more dock photos:

JC18611-6-12.jpg

JC18631-6-12.jpg

JC18731-6-12.jpg

Hi, Jackie! This sun is really bright!

JC18751-6-12.jpg

I'ma use my pretty bouquet as a lightsaber!!! (Yes, that is what she is doing!)

JC18761-6-12.jpg

Did you really just use your bouquet as a lightsaber, Becky?

JC18771-6-12.jpg

Right after the lightsabering, I had a stunning revelation: I forgot my veil!!!!! I really didn't care about it at this point, but I knew my grandmother (who paid $250 for that darn thing) would have had some choices words to say if I didn't wear it. My room key was in my clutch, which was with either Christy or her assistant for the day, and I had NO idea where they were! Randy, however, sprang into action: he called Christy and told her we forgot the veil, and she said she would meet Becky in the lobby to get her the room key. So Becky starting running for it:

JC18911-6-12.jpg

"Becky! Look back here!"

JC18941-6-12.jpg

While Becky ran her marathon for the veil, it was my job to stay on the dock and remain calm. I think I actually look calm in this picture (I wasn't; I swear!)

JC18951-6-12.jpg

I also had terrifying images of falling into the water. Thankfully, I remained dry throughout my entire wedding day.

JC19071-6-12.jpg

JC19191-6-12.jpg

We walked back over to the main lobby. I think we were starting to run low on time, but I really don't know. I kept asking Randy what time it was, and he kept saying "Oh, we're doing good!"

My dad was waiting over by the driver, and so I took some more pictures with him:

JC19301-6-12.jpg

"Dad, take off the sunglasses!"

JC19391-6-12.jpg

And he almost doesn't look like a serial killer in this one!

JC19571-6-12.jpg

Then, Becky arrived with the veil! She apparently got a bit lost and ran to the wrong room, and was just generally freaking out. Luckily, she found it and, thankfully, it was pretty easy to put in my hair. After they placed the veil in my hair, they had to rush over to SBP: again, another reason I am so glad we stayed at BCV: their villas are closer than the Boardwalk's.

Ta-da! I have a veil now!

JC19791-6-12.jpg

With the veil in place, it was time to head over to the car.

JC01151-6-12.jpg

JC01241-6-12.jpg

Now, let me tell you girls: it was not easy getting into the backseat of that car. The backseat was tiny, my dress was ginormous, and the soles of my shoes were 100% fancy shmancy leather, so they were quite slippery. I was actually rather convinced that I would fall out of the thing. Andrew, the coordinator, promised me it's never happened before... but I fall a lot. (Don't worry, I was fall free!)

JC19941-6-12.jpg

This is the owner of the car. As soon as I got in, he told me to "be careful of the seatbelt" because his wife made him install a seatbelt into the car. :lmao: I was also the first bride to ride in it with the brand new top. Also, later on, I noticed his name was Dick Hardman. Snicker.

I was in the car, and the nerves were starting to sink in. Can you see them?!

JC20071-6-12.jpg

We got the all clear to head over: it was time for me to go get married!

JC20051-6-12.jpg

Oh wow, keep the photos coming. Randy did such a wonderful job! Everything does look picturesque. Congratulations again!

-Oh Jackie I am so happy for you.
-I know times have been rough for you but I love your wedding and I am so glad to have you as a friend.
-Your veil is very pretty.
-snicker to the car owner's name
-love the lightsaber bouquet fighting!

Teresa

* The ones with your dad are just perfect, I'm so glad Randy got some amazing shots for you so you can keep those memories with you always.
* I completely agree that the Boardwalk is such a great place for wedding photos. The Model A absolutely does look like it fits right in, I love it!
* I love the story about the veil! Haha Becky running back to the room shot is too funny.
* I was also super worried about the time! I actually kept my watch on until the last possible moment, and one of my bridesmaids wore her watch the whole time so I would always be able to know what time it was. I am never late for anything, even though the rest of the world is!

I should read your posts every morning. They make things better! :goodvibes

-Flowers as lightsabers. Teresa (Icecoldpenguin) will be thrilled :) (Btw, can you tell Becky her tattoos are fabulous?)
-Man, Randy did SUCH a fantastic job! And we haven't even made it to the ceremony part yet!
-Those first two pics with your dad? Even with the sunglasses on, I can totally see how proud he is and happy he is. :lovestruc
-And I totally would've been suppressing a giggle at his name. Hi, I'm 31, but am secretly 12 inside :lmao:
