Jack Sparrow et moi!

Well...in the last half hour of our DRP trip (Mon).....there he was....walking towards us .....good old Jack Sparrow!! Hardly anyone around.....the first photo I had taken with him didn't come out and I wasn't a happy Minnie.....but no prob he was happy to pose for another one! I'm thinking we were very lucky! He was great to my godson too....and posed for a photo and the wee lad was SO chuffed! (almost as much as me! heehehehe!) Then as soon as we were finished Jack was mobbed by bunches of lassies!!

It was a brilliant end to our hols...we then followed meeting Jack S by 3 times in a row on POTC and on the front row of the boat too!

Don't know if this is a 'new' Jack...but he seems to look different from other photos?

Yes of course he's not Johnny Depp...but hey I wasn't complaining! heheehehe!

I'll write up a wee trip report soon.........dreaming I'm back in DRP!

I'M SO JEALOUS!!! Ahhhhh I spent all week of my last trip looking for Captain Jack, but we didn't sight him once. That one looks quite good... the other one I've seen looked a bit camp!

I hope I'll have your luck on my next trip (whenever that may be...)!

I'm jealous too we saw him once in nine days and by the time we got over to him he had disappeared. You wouldn't believe the number of detours we made by POC but sadly never saw him again.

Yes, I think we were very, very lucky....I'm so sorry for those who he managed to give the slip....what a shame.

If its any use......we saw him about 7.20pm/ 7.30pm on the back road to POTC from the The Chaparral Theatre in Frontierland..if you know where I mean! A quieter direction to go to POTC I think?? Maybe he prefers to keep himself a bit mysterious!

I just about did a summersault when I saw him and was absoloutly thrilled and felt like a wee teenager again.....

Do you think there are any incidents of visitors trying to kidnap a pirate!?! So if you ever see a report on the news in the future about a pirate-nap........its not me honest!

Great pic! And a different Jack to when we were there a week ago.

We had SUCH a time finding him! We took loads of detours to Adventure Isle to find him, too, to no avail (except once when we spotted him just as he was leaving!). In the end we went to City Hall and asked when he would be there, and they checked the timetable - which was running a bit late, but still, we found him in the end! And he was absolutely lovely (and a massive flirt, hee. )

Lucky you for getting him to stand still long enough to have a pic taken - we saw him last week but he was marching off in all different directions while writing in autograph books - with the book in front of his eyes! Great impression of that 'stoned' kind of look like JD does so well. Plus loads of kids and parents following him - looked liked the pied piper!! Yes my lot followed too all the way through skull rock! I did get a pic of him but none of my group were in the pic, will post later!

That is a much more rugged Jack than the one we saw a couple of days ago...the one we saw was very camp and not very Capt. Jack at all..I will get some photos up later to prove my point !!! You lucky thing Petal !!!!!
