Jack Lalanne's Power Juicer`

Hi all,

We're from the UK and a shopping channel is showcasing the Power Juicer. Before I hand over my hard earned cash can anybody recommend it???

Also I remember when we visited Orlando 5 years ago there were adverts for a juicer which let you put whole pineapple with skin and it pulped it down. Does it still exist and if so, what's the name.

Jack Lalanne is like 200 years old and acts like a young 50 year old. He also is as sharp as a tack. He drinks fresh juices, eats tons of veggies and does not eat meats or dairy products. Oh yeah , and exercises like a madman. So his diet exercise regime is impeccable, if you want to live forever.

Not to sure about his juicer, but I assume it is a really good one. I also assume it is costly.

I have had a Braun Juicer for about 14 years and it is great. It has never broken down and almost daily it is squeezing juice out of carrots, beets and other things that you would never think had juice in them. It seperates the pulp and the juice always comes out tasty and smooth, not lumpy with seeds, pulp or other debris. I guess it all depends on how much you are going to use your juicer and what you want to juice. I could never fit a whole pinapple in my juicer, the slot is too small. But, it probably would juice the whole thing if it was cut into the proper size.

Whatever you do, get a juicer. Nothing like starting your day with a tall refreshing glass of Carrot and Beet juice.

I bought it fromHome Shopping a few months ago. With all the activity of summer, and everything else I have not used it as often as I'd like.

It is a good product though.
