Jack and Sally. UPDATED. FINISHED :( !! LOTS of pics. 6.26-7.3

Awesome installments. So sorry to hear that TT was closed. I can't wait to try this ride. And it stinks that you cant use the comp FP for Soarin. But the two of you look like you had an awesome time anyway.

I hope we get to meet just as many characters when we go around the world.

Great pictures and TR. I love the picture of the two of you in front of the castle kissing, so magical!

Ohana's is our favorite restaurant at Disney. We actually had 2 ADR but changed one of them, we decided to try something different that we have not had yet. What did you guys think were better, the Dole floats or Dole whips?

Great update, sounds like you guys had a great day! I also had problems with the night pictures I took on my camera.

Just finished page nine. So sorry that the atmosphere at Ca grill was less them upscale, but I am glad to hear that you still had a wonderful time there anyway!
:)

You are so adorable! The dimples and hair! You're a beauty. princess:

Okay, off to read more before sneaking back to the real world...

Yea...another update! I'm loving the pictures. After seeing the pic of you next to Jasmine, I totally think you could be Jasmine! That may be a cool costume some day...or night  !

and I was thinking you could act in the Streetmosphere you love so well :)

Great photos. the photos (and quantity of them) are fabulous

I am just now getting to check TR's for the day and was so happy to see you updated! :)
Your pics are so good and I love your dress you wore to O'hana's.

Thanks, we did have a great time. There are a lot of characters in Epcot, so good luck!

Thanks, I like it too!

DBF joked that we should eat at Ohana's and Le Cellier every night, rotating! :rotfl: I cant say about the Dole Whips, I only had a whip and he only had a float. Either way, they were yummy!

Great update, sounds like you guys had a great day! I also had problems with the night pictures I took on my camera.

I'm really gonna try to save up for a better camera with night settings. WDW was the prettiest at night and I could never capture that! :sad1:

:rotfl: While we were there, I kept trying to figure out what princess I could "be"! A dilemma thats haunted me since I was a little girl! I'm actually native american, so naturally I leaned towards Pochahontas, but as I got older, it was obvious that I looked more like Mulan! :rotfl: 2 proms ago, I decided to dress vintage and walla! I discovered that maybe I looked like Snow White! :rotfl:

I would love to be Streetmosphere, I dont think I have enough improv skills! :)

Thanks, I liked my dress too! ;)

Wow! I guess you could be Snow White! I think you're pretty enough to be just about any princess, except the blondies. You have very nice colored complexion!!!

i'm glad you guys liked ohana's so much.....makes me excited to go there soon since we've never been. i'm doing a "test run" of it in september when i go to WDW with a friend for a short weekend trip to see if ray (DH) will like it when we go back in april. i think he will!

and i love your kissy pic! soooo cute. all your pics in front of the castle at night were just gorgeous. you made me go add to my "must do" list for our april trip: take a picture in front of the castle at night! :goodvibes

two proms back...you must have been just 16, but you look so much older in that picture!
Okay, Snow White is a good match for you, but also a cross between Tiffany Amber Theisen and Rachel Ray (but with prettier eyes than either of those two).
LOL

You guys are so cute in that picture. Dh and I are about 10-15 years older than you guys, and we looked like total dorks in our prom pictures. BUT we would have liked to have had that look you two had going on! :rotfl:

Great update!!

I love the dress you wore to Ohana! If I may ask, where did you get it? It is adorable!

Loving the updates. I had a similar experience with TT too, sucked very much. OMG Ohana's is great! You have to visit it when you're 21 or go with someone who's 21+ so you can taste the Lapu Lapu. Mmmmm. Love the kiss in front of the castle pic, how perfect. Can't wait to hear more.

Today we awoke to spend the day in MGM. We woke up early again to be there at opening. Here’s a picture of the empty bus we sat in on the way to MGM. We were really surprised, but it was very relaxing and FREEZING as always.

I’m pretty sure I put pictures up of the rope drop show, so I wont bore you with my other set! We did the usual routine of “walking” to RnRc. We FP and rode. Today, we made a decision we should have made a long time ago: ate breakfast! We paid out ofpocket for Breakfast at ABC Commisary. It was pretty delicious and the restaurant was calm. No one was really in there, and it was neat to look at the costumes from the T.V shows. After that, we headed to the Great Movie Ride which had a much smaller waiting time this time around! We waited maybe 10 minutes and we had a great driver! He was really cheesy but he never broke character. After that we headed to the Animation Academy, which we fell in LOVE with! We liked browsing through all the fun games and animation displays. The first time around we drew Stitch, and they turned out pretty good. I think this is a GREAT idea, and it’s a great souvenir! It was finally time to see LCA Stunt Show. John was so excited to see this! When we were watching the planning videos and such, this was the one attraction that John wanted to see hands down! So the day was finally here!

(That’s how I feel about things like stunt shows… )
When we arrived they were just beginning to seat people, so we grabbed a good spot, and WAITED and WAITED and WAITED.
S6301133.jpg

The show finally got started.

S6301152.jpg

Honestly, I thought the show was kinda boring…There were just so many pauses through everything. But John really enjoyed it, and I thought the stunts were pretty cool.
After that, we browsed some shops and John bought his family some gifts. Then we ate at Pizza Planet. This place is pretty neat! I think Toy Story is one of my favorite movies of all time, so I guess I’m a little biased. But the pizza was really good as was the salad. Even CS was too much food for me. We got cool Mickey Rice Krispies again!
S6301154.jpg

We really thought that they should have a claw machine game with the aliens in it! We were really kinda shocked they didn’t, Disney is great at that whole synergy marketing stuff, right? Well, I wanted to be like Sid and play the claw machine. Shame Shame.
S6301155.jpg

John stopped to get a picture on the Star Wars thingie.
We headed to RnRc to use our FP and stopped to watch…what else? Some more Streetmosphere!
S6301160.jpg

I never quite figured out if her name was Norma or Dorma, but I just loved her character! She was so loveable!

Afterwards, we made it RnRc and I finally remembered to take a redneck picture!
S6301178.jpg

Then we headed to our little airconditioned happy place:

While we were there, Ratatoiulle came out!

Sorry its blurry, I was embarrassed to turn on the flash.

S6301186.jpg

We left just as the afternoon parade was beginning and were determined to actually swim and enjoy CBR this afternoon!

We returned to CBR and grabbed those mugs and headed to OPR. It was so crowded! It was a small pool with a lot of people. A lot of people were smoking around the tables too, ( I thought this was not allowed anymore?) and I just couldn’t relax. So we picked up all our stuff and headed to the village pool. Throughout all this, I snapped some more pics of CBR.

We made it to the Jamaica pool and it was a lot more relaxing. I was really looking forward to laying out in the sun, but the clouds had started to move in. Soon enough, it was raining. John doesn’t mind swimming in the rain, so I let him keep on swimming and I headed back to the room to nap.
We awoke ( I want to say about 7ish) and headed to MGM for Fantasmic. When we arrived there was some Streetmosphere and they were telling one liner jokes! I wish we could’ve caught some more, but I could see the crowds thickening around the Hollywood Hills so we continued on.
S6301206.jpg

S6301210.jpg

Right as we arrived at the Hollywood Hills they began letting people in. I’m telling you we had GREAT timing ALL week. I still cant believe what good luck we always had with timing.
We got a nice seat right in the middle. We hadn’t eaten since Pizza Planet so we were STARVING. We were afraid by the time we got out we wouldn’t be able to grab any CS so we began buying random snack foods and only eating a couple bites because most of it was gross! After wasting nachos and popcorn, I finally got a pretzel and it finally filled me up pretty good. We waited and waited and finally Fantasmic started. It was so amazing! We REALLY liked this one. The storyline is just great. I fell in love with Mickey all over again. John and I still quote the last line from the show every now and then, its our favorite.
S6301228.jpg

(That was the ONLY decent picture I got.)
We had gotten FP for ToT earlier in the day, but tonight was the night that I finally broke the news to John that ToT scares the heebie-jeebies outta me. I cant help it, sometimes I get anxiety pretty bad…so he understood. We made it back home the earliest we had ever been home – 10:30! We were feeling adventurous so we decided to head to DTD.
I actually put some makeup on (first time this trip – well REAL makeup, ya know?) and John got snazzy and we headed to DTD.

S6301236.jpg

S6301237.jpg

(Can you tell he was getting tired of pictures? Lol)
This was one of the biggest mistakes we made. I’m not quite sure why we hated DTD so much, but we did. I want to start off by saying that we aren’t naïve teenagers or anything, believe it or not, we used to be little punks with pixie cuts and studs, so its not like we’ve never been to a club before or seen drunk people. Okay. Onward. We bought our tickets(after about a 30 minute line) and headed to Comedy Warehouse. On our way to Comedy Warehouse, I received a lot of cat calls from really old drunken men. I was actually pretty scared. I couldn’t imagine going there with my girlfriends. To make things worse, the drunk woman in front of us saw a security guard and felt the need to flash him. GROSS. There were several groups of “gangsters” or whatever you call them (I don’t know the politically correct word for it.) and after wading through them we made it to the last showing at Comedy Warehouse. It was a decently funny show, but it lasted maybe 15-20 minutes. We felt jipped. We paid $50 for our tickets! Feeling ripped off, we headed to the Adventurer’s Club just to feel as if we got our money worth. We didn’t really like this either. We laughed later that we didn’t enjoy it because we weren’t drunk enough, because all the people in there were cracking up hysterically and they were coincidentally WAY trashed. It didn’t help that we felt really young and out of place. There were a lot of scantily clad girls and I felt really overdressed. As we headed to the bus stop, we concluded that we just really expected something much more classy with Disney’s name attached to it. I know it’s a nightclub district, but its Disney not Vegas, right? Idk. I think it was just being surrounded by all the sugar coated Disney-ness and then being thrown back into reality was just a bit of a shock. We’ll know for next time I guess. We made it back to CBR as the sprinklers were running, so we had to run all the way back to our room, trying to avoid them! It was surprising and brought a smile to my face. We made it home and got some much needed sleep.
I hate to leave on such a sour note, here’s the classic Mouse himself. Isnt he a cutie-pa-tootie?!

Woohooo I'm first! :cool1:

Fantasmic is great :goodvibes , I couldn't get any decent pics either though, but that was a great shot of Mickey! Sorry you had a crappy time at DTD. A lot of locals hit that joint so I'm sure half the people you saw acting unDisney were those people. :sad2: I've seen it too when I've gone. You looked great in your Lime dress though. :thumbsup2

That's too bad that you had such a bad night at Pleasure Island. I have never been. I have read good things about the Adventurer's Club though. It sounds like the rest of your day was fantastic though! I absolutely adore Fantasmic, it is so good. My pictures of the show did not turn out as well.:confused3
