I love the ring, miss tiffany, & the programs!! So HAPPY for u! Praying & Sending great weather your way QUOTE]

Thanks love!! I sincerely appreciate your prayers for great weather!!!

I practically read your journal in one sitting! Congrats! Everything you've planned is simply beautiful!!!

I hope you have a wonderful wedding this weekend! I can't wait to hear about your trip report and see pics!

thank you!!

I love your ring. So pretty. Tiffany looks great! Love your programs. This week!!!!

aw thank you!!

Tiffany looks great with the bustle! :thumbsup2 And that ring is gorgeous. Programs are also lovely. Wendy from Etsy made them (the design)? So pretty. Can't believe you will be there and married SO soon. Happy for you Tricia!

thank you!! she did look great with THAT bustle.. haha more on this later! ;) Yes, our Wendy (Ever After Printables on Etsy) designed the programs. She is amazing!

4 days!! Eeek! So excited for you!

I just posted my whole update on your wall hahahah....so sorry for my insanity.

hahaha I will have to go back and look becasue I don't remember what you posted?! lol too funny!

Hey, with all you've been doing these past few months, if the worst thing to happen is the boxes getting there on Thursday, it's all good. I mailed down my box on Saturday through the post office... $48! Versus mailing the two dresses down through UPS for $15. When they were close to being the same weight. I can't imagine why the post office is going bankrupt! :rolleyes1

Good for you on getting packing done! Other than the "wedding carry-on", I haven't done anything yet. But that's nothing new; I've always packed the night before.

It's 3:15 right now. Which means in FOUR DAYS AND TWO HOURS (give or take), you'll be married! :dance3:

I suppose you were right with the boxes! These were a slightly big stress for me while down there, more on that later! My packing also waited until the night before.. haaa oooopsy!

Just wanted to wish you a fabulous wedding day in case I don't make it back here before Sat!

thank you!!! ;)

Having you around to read your journal has been so fun. I am sad the planning is over but I can't wait for the wedding report. Have a wonderful wedding in case I forget to come back on the 5th. Love you girl have a wonderful day

thanks Andrea!! Will you write a review on the race? Or did you already and i missed it? Soo much to catch up on, eek! :)

I didn't write up a review since it wouldn't be a TR since I just stayed at home. But I could write up a post on my PJ...should I do that?

You girls sure know how to make me feel special! ;)

Here is the preview from our photographers to get you all started if you haven't seen it yet!

Oh wow! There are sooooooooooo many gorgeous pictures!! There's something about the coloring that I just love!

Whew! We're baaaaaaaaaack!!
After a few amazing weeks, I'm sitting here at 11:15PM wide awake. Our bodies are still on Hawaiian time (6 hrs in the past). I have got to figure this out by Monday (how to get my body back to EST) :)

So let's see, Sunday before we left, 4/30. I talk to my mom and she mentions she is driving my sister to the airport (Josh and I, my mom, my sister, her husband and my nephew as well as Josh's sister, husband and their 2 girls are all on the same flight Weds morning). The original plan was for Josh and I to bring Goonie over to my parents Weds morning, drop him off and have my dad bring us and my mom to the airport. There is not room for my sister, her husband and my nephew too. I tell my mom my sister will need to get there another way and disregard it. I'm slightly snappy to my mom, so this is nothing new. Our photographers had a mixer on Sunday night, wine and chocolate at a winery here in CT. I was really excited to go and Josh decided about two hours before it started that he wasn't going. It was an event for couples, I couldn't go without him. I even went and bought them chocolates to bring, etc. My stress got the best of me, I threw a fit, started crying and went up to bed (at like 5PM.. lol). I didn't come back down.

Monday I talk to my mom again and she tells me they were unaware my dad was watching Goonie. She basically told me I needed to find somewhere else for him to go, AND they weren't going to drive josh and I to the airport. 2 days before we were leaving. I am so upset I don't know what to do. I call Josh sobbing, he hangs up and calls my mom directly. We're both panicking that we can't even go at this point. My dad was supposed to watch him Weds-Fri, then when we came to FL Fri, one of my friends who couldnt come to the wedding was taking him Fri-Monday. My dad was supposed to take him back on Monday. My mom claims she thought my friend was taking him Weds-Monday. I hate being a burden to anyone, but I had no one else to turn to. I begged her to take him Tuesday night (our flight was 6AM wednesday) and thankfully she agreed. One crisis averted. I also called and booked Josh and I a towncar. At this point I was so livid with my mom, I did not want to see her at 4AM. I was pretty much able to work the whole day Monday and get a lot done, so I felt good about that.

Tuesday I was working from home again. I signed on at 6:30AM, knowing I had a lot of non-work things to do this day. Sure enough, I left around 9:30AM for my hair appointment at 10 and didn't end up getting home til around 3:30PM. After my hair I headed to Josh's office, they threw us the cutest party and it was so awesome. Then I had to go pick up my dress! The time got away from my by then so I sped back home and signed back on. I worked til about 5, returning all my calls, admitted defeat and shut my computer down. I was SO stressed. I wanted to get a pedicure before we left, that didn't happen.

Josh came home around 4, earlier than I wanted him there. I had been debating for awhile what to get him for the wedding. Clearly we were a day before leaving and any of the personalized gifts I wanted to get were not going to happen. I decided I was getting him an iPad. I knew he'd be completely surprised and love it. I told him I was going out to get my nails done and do a few more errands and off I went. I had to hurry because we had to bring Goonie to my friends' house when I get back. I went first to Best Buy to check their prices, then I went to buy it at Sam's Club. I havent done nearly enough research so standing in the store trying to decide was stressing me out more. I called one of my bridesmaids and decided to get him the iPad 2 with the middle storage, 32 whatever I think? haha I stand in line, behind someone re-stocking his mini-mart I swear, with my one item, for 25 minutes. While in line, I'm on the phone with my sister trying to figure out how to get this thing to her so Josh doesnt see it. I'm not checking it in my luggage, and I can't bring it in my carryon. Security will make me take it out and my surprise will be ruined. Finally I decide I'm going to drive to my sister's and give it to her to bring. (she lives 30 min in the opposite direction of where I am)

I get to the checkout and she hands the slip to someone else to get it from the back. That person comes back and tells me theyre sold out ................. I pretty much have a breakdown. One of my bridesmaids in DC is trying to call me while this is going on, I snap at the woman "forget it" and decide I'll go back to Best Buy. I call my BM back and she says she'll get in in DC, and bring it with her. Angel from above, thank you!! :littleangel: I feel relieved and head back home. At about 7PM I get back home and we pack up my car with Goonie's stuff. I'm already tearing up at the thought of leaving him and Josh is being very quiet. We get there and stay about an hour making sure he is happy and going to be okay. We feel comfortable, can tell he is happy (she has two other dogs), and I tell Josh- we need to leave, NOW! I can tell I'm about to start crying at any second. We tell her we're going, hug and kiss him and walk out to the car. his little face is in the storm door watching us leave him and we both lose it. Weeping like two grown babies. I have only ever seen Josh cry one other time, and that was a tear. He was full on weeping. It made me cry even more. I felt terrible leaving him. :confused3

We got back home and it was so odd being home without him, but I needed to pack us. Back to business! I think Josh saw the stress in my face and actually did his own thankfully! I had packed all of our wedding stuff previously, but none of my clothes. Then I realize I never got white shoes for rehearsal. Too late at that point. I finish packing my suitcase around 12:30AM, complete with sticky-notes all over the place, on the stair railing, on the front door, on the bathroom mirror, so I don't forget things we need in the morning. Josh passed out around 11. I lay in bed trying to fall asleep and I can't, my mind is racing a mile a minute. Last I remember seeing 1:30AM, with our alarm going off at 3:15. The towncar was coming to get us at 4:45.

The alarm went off and I woke right up. Showered, crossed off all my sticky notes and the towncar came around 4:30AM. It felt odd leaving the house with all our stuff and no pup in the window, but paying $100 for that towncar was a great choice. We both sat in silence for 35 minutes before we met everyone at the airport. We're going to Disney World today!!!! :cheer2:

Great start!!! We get upset leaving Baxter--furbabies are important parts of the family!! It's especially upsetting when there are issues around who is watching them!! I'm glad you got it all worked out!! Town cars can be a blessing to not have to deal with family on the way to and from the airport--good choice!!!

Ah the airport, such a wonderful place. We pull up and right behind us is my parents and sister. Josh and I wait to check our bags curbside, so does my sister. My mom goes inside and while we're waiting Josh spots our photographers- they were on our flight!! All of my close friends and Josh mock me, I am completely and unhealthily obsessed with our photogs. I've likely mentioned it before here. haha So them on our flight was like a kid in a candy store!
Here I am holding up Tiffany around 5:30AM!

Ty came in his PJ's!
ty.jpg

and this was Addison's first time on a plane!
addi.jpg

We checked in, got through security and pretty much boarded within 10-15 minutes, which was great! Both of our families pre-boarded with their kiddos and photogs (we can call them Justin & Mary or J&M) paid to pre-board. foiled. As we're watching all these people get on the plane, I'm nervous I won't be able to stash Tiffany! Luckily, J&M sat in the exit row and saved us seats also in the exit row (there were 2 in ours then they were right behind us) They also kept an entire overhead bin open for us. (two actually) The flight attendant was super nice, helped me get her in there then closed it and told people it was full. oh southwest how i love thee.
overhead.jpg

The flight attendant's were great with their funny jokes, as we were taking off they were chugging like Thomas the Train. I am sure all the kids were loving it. We were laughing too. A few times during the flight, J&M spoke to us, they even took our picture and Instagrammed us. I was in Heaven. :goodvibes

The flight was otherwise non-eventful, we got off and headed for baggage claim. We stopped at Starbucks and Josh held Tiffany for me.
dre.jpg

Off we went, where we met everybody getting their bags. Josh's sister stayed off property and my mom rented a car, so off they went. My sister, husb and nephew, Josh and I and J&M headed for the Magical Express. Now, I am a fast walker, especially in the Orlando airport. I just want to get there already. I am in no way leisurely. I've never thought anything of this. :scratchin soo I'm wearing a hoodie one of my BM's gave me that says bride on the back. Holding Tiffany, wheeling my suitcase, my carryon, in my fleece lined hoodie in FL, you'd think I would slow down. Nope. I'm sweating bullets but I just keep going. J&M are keeping up with us, not saying a word. We can see the ME ahead of us, I look over at Mary and she's sweating too. She asked me what I do for work and tells me they want to steal me away. I get all excited inside, because like I said, I'm obsessed. We get to the ME, we go to our bus line, they go to theirs and we say we'll see them later. (They stayed at CBR).

Justin has been to WDW before, but Mary hadn't. We sent them to the Tomorrowland Terrace DP on Weds night, because she told me they were going to go to MK that day. We were going also on Sunday, so I was hoping they'd like it and report back!

We boarded the ME, got Tiffany a seat and headed off to the BC!
dre2.jpg

Our room wasn't ready (we got in around 11, 11:30), so we checked all our bags and Tiffany, Josh went to Carolyn Allen's to be fitted, and I went with my mom to get supplies for the welcome bags (or so I thought).
I checked FB of course and saw J&M had written their blog post for the day already. It made me laugh instantly.

YES! :)
thank you!! I am definitely very happy with how all my decor played out! :goodvibes

Thanks!! Whew, and now onto the (mostly) fun parts! ;)
It was sooo hard leaving him, I don't think we'll ever be able to go anywhere without our kids once we have some. hahaha We were SO happy to be back with Goonie!! :cool1:

my mom's madness was definitely a blessing. i needed those 35 minutes in the towncar for sure. :goodvibes

I'm having the worst time focusing (literally; the nighttime meds are kicking in and all the words on the screen keep getting blurred), but I had to reply to my twin!

I'll re-read tomorrow, so that I can post a reply that actually makes SOME sense, but I just wanted to say I'm happy you're starting the TR! :goodvibes

aw no worries! Hopefully you feel better!! :goodvibes
I'm feeling overwhelmed already with all I have to write here! hahaha And I've already gotten the warnings from josh "you're not going to be on the computer all day are you??" ;)

Alrighty, back where I left off :goodvibes

So we get to the Beach Club, our room isn't ready. Josh heads with his dad, his BIL, and my BIL to get fitted at CA's for their suits. I go with my mom to buy snacks for the welcome bags, or so I think. We head to Super Target and while driving my mom tells me we are also going to lunch with her best friend (the one I shipped a ton of boxes to that lives there and works for Disney). I freak out that I don't have time for a leisurely lunch, I have too much to do. We grab a few groceries, a case of bottled water for the bags, and she drives me back to the BC, drops me off and goes to get my boxes and have lunch with her friend.

I call Josh to see where he is, and they're still being fitted. CA's told me it would only take 15-20 minutes for them to try on their suits and be on their way. Apparently my BIL needed new pants, Josh's jacket had to be taken in slightly etc, so they were there longer than expected. I was trying to stay calm, cool and collected so I said, no problem! Josh sent me a picture of him in his suit:
W7.jpg

:)

I ventured to the gift shop to see the new goods, and ran into my now MIL! We decided to walk over to Hurricane Hanna's, I pointed out where everything was to her, ceremony, etc. She asked what we were doing for dinner that night- I had planned a reservation for Josh and I alone that night, our last night before we started the madness with everyone else. I told her we were going into Epcot but I wasn't sure what time, I had to look. She asked if they could come with us- ummmmmmm. How to say no nicely? I said, we can see if we can add you on the reservation. She quickly I think realized we wanted to go alone and said they would find something else to do. I felt bad but didn't indulge. I told Josh later and he reassured me they were fine having dinner without us. Josh and the boys got back to the hotel just as I got the text our room was ready!!

We met up and headed to the room- 205 in the Villas. I requested ground floor and close to the elevators. We weren't ground floor but we were in a perfect location. We ended up being across the hall and 3 rooms down from my parents, which I wasn't crazy about at first but ended up working really well with logistics.
Our little studio:
IMG_1933.jpg

My mom arrived back with all my boxes I had shipped to her friend and we had everything brought up to our room. Our little room quickly became wedding central:
W1.jpg

I was so excited to start opening boxes and seeing all the stuff I had bought!
Our fans! (I tied the little white ribbon to jazz them up)
W2.jpg

Bathroom baskets (I added a little mini card - "compliments of the newlyweds"
W3.jpg

Our welcome bags and door hangers!!
W4.jpg

My bridesmaid robes (their gifts)
W5.jpg

And of course we had a towel mickey on our bed!
IMG_1932.jpg

I quickly got to work organizing everything, unpacking and puting everything we had with us into the welcome bags. I lined them all up so that when the boxes I shipped came back on Thursday, I could add to each one and be on my way!

Josh took a nap, I moved my dress over to my parents room across the hall, and got to work tying the ribbons on the fans and making sure we had everything. I made my mom a list so she could go back to Target for snacks. Before we knew it, it was time to shower and go to Epcot for dinner! We realized we didn't pack our shampoo and conditioner, gah! In our madness and all my sticky notes this morning , how could we forget that?! I am so fussy about my hair and absolutely HATE the shampoo/conditioner Disney supplies! Added it to the list for my mom, sucked it up for one night and we were off for our last date night- hibachi in Epcot!

IMG_1934.jpg

IMG_1935.jpg

I had a Toyko Sunrise and could tell we were both so excited to be getting married in a few days!!
W6.jpg

When we finished dinner, Illuminations was starting and Epcot was Empty!! We have been going for the last few years during F&W, so this was an unexpected treat. It got us really excited that we picked an awesome time to bring everyone to Disney! We walked happily back to the Beach CLub, ran into my sister, BIL and nephew as they were walking back too! Josh and I grabbed an ice cream at Beaches & Cream and called it a night. We told his family we'd go to the MK in the morning with his nieces!! What a long day, we were pooped (in a great way!)! :beach:

I'm back and completely conscious! :lmao: (And it's the usual nightly routine, just normally by that point, I'm already in bed. But when I saw that you posted, I had to come and read!)

Great start to the TR! I was just telling Doug that I needed to find interior BC pics, and BOOM! You have one. Fantastic timing ;) We forgot a bunch of stuff, too, if it's any comfort. We'll blame stress on that, right? LOL

I can't wait to read more, twin! :goodvibes

Tricia,

Welcome home MRS!!! :cool1:

Based on all your facebook posts, I KNOW you had a great time! :rotfl: Just can't wait to hear all the details.

Ok, what the heck is up with your mother??? How can she cause so much stress as you are leaving??? Just glad it worked out and that you and Josh had some alone time in the car.

Your story about leaving Goonie had me so sad. We hate leaving our 3 boys. It is the worst part of traveling for us. We swear that Ozzie has guilty eyes too. He starts laying them on thick for a few days before we leave. Totally understand how you felt. He must have been so happy when you got home.

Awesome photos so far from Mary and Justin. Just lovely. Quick question, the description of your signature drink did Wendy do that or did Shelley or neither? I would love to do something like it.

Seems like things calmed down once you got to Disney. Glad your MIL got the hint on dinner.

Looking forward to more!!

Sounds like a fabulous start! Your mother had me stressed too. It is always hard leaving our babies, real or fur. So glad your flight was uneventful and you were able to get one more dinner in alone. Reading your TR is getting me so excited for my wedding next month.

Loving your TR so far, Tricia! Lots of stress at the beginning of the trip seems to be a theme in the TRs I've been reading lately! I'm glad you figured it all out!

You guys are so sweet crying when you had to leave Goonie! I am a dog lover too so I totally understand. I bet he had fun, though!

Your photographers seem so cool and I love their blog post! She was totally right about real life being greater than blog life. :)

Even with forgetting a few things it seems like you were SO organize so I commend you for that. You're also amazing for not totally freaking out everytime people changed plans on you. I would go nuts!

Can't wait to read more!

:). Oh my mom is just getting started, don't worry haha Wendy did my drink sign!! I love it! It actually disappeared between cocktail hour and reception, I asked the bartender where it was and she said it never made it/ someone swiped it. Who knows who wanted it but whatever!! Lol Once we got to FL it was definitely organized chaos vs panic. :goodvibes

Sounds like a fabulous start! Your mother had me stressed too. It is always hard leaving our babies, real or fur. So glad your flight was uneventful and you were able to get one more dinner in alone. Reading your TR is getting me so excited for my wedding next month.

Thank you! Haha yay for your upcoming wedding!! :bride:

Thanks!! I guess i was pretty organized considering how much I did get accomplished, it was mostly my own fault for being a control freak but oh well! ;) I only had two freak outs all weekend, which I thought was pretty good! Haha

:welcome: home!! You're off to a great TR start!

YAY! Congrats MRS!
thanks faith!! :happytv:

-------------------------------------------------

Sorry I started and stopped for a few days , I had some stuff happen that I'm not really ready to come out and tell the world yet, but I'm trying to get things back together and on with the wedding, talking about it is my happy place right now :)) thanks girls for following along!
