iWatch and MDE

Hi.

I an trying to download mydisneyexperience to my iWatch. Can this be done? I dont seem to be able to do so and came here to see if anyone has been successful.

I don’t think you can download the app to your Apple Watch. You just need to add your tickets from your iPhone app to your wallet. Then you can use your watch to get into the parks, ILL, etc - just like your Magic Band.

No Apple Watch version of the MDE app. Just use it as a wallet.

The only thing you can load onto your Apple Watch is a Disney MagicMobile Pass which will allow you to use the watch much like a MagicBand in the WDW theme parks. The watch can't automatically link ride photos nor can it unlock doors at your resort.

Thank you all very much! While I do have a "puck" from my MB for my watch, I did go ahead and have my AP and my DVC in my wallet on my watch. I will try to see if this works the first day and take my puck off my band and see if my watch will work.

I had hoped to be able to leave my phone back at the room sometimes but with the use of G+, I realized this may not be at all possible. Sad times LOL
