OK, we are flying down to Disney for the 2nd time on November 13th. On November 14th we are going offsite to visit the WWOHP for one day. There are 7 of us staying at OKW. 5 of us were planning on taking the ME to the resort when we land right before noon. My hubby and his dad were going to pick up the car (minivan) from MCO so we have it bright and early so we can make it to rope drop at IOA the next day. Plus we can stock our fridge with milk, yogurt at fruit that first day with the car. We plan to return the car to Disney's car care center on Friday morning on our way to MK.
Here are my questions:
1) As long as some of us are taking the ME, will they still pick up all of our luggage with the yellow tags? The reservation is under my name and I will be taking the Magic Express. They aren't going to leave behind the bags with my hubby's and FIL's tags on right?
2) I have no idea what a good price for renting a minivan is. I see people posting some of the deals they got, but it is usually for either a smaller car, a longer duration or on a weekend. We have none of those going for us. The quote from Alamo for a minivan (using the sunny destinations 15% off code) for the two days (with all taxes and fees) is $109. Is that high? I know the compact cars can be had for a lot cheaper, but can minivans?
3) When should I be booking this? Is there a chance I won't be able to get a minivan if I wait? Do prices on minivans ever drop lower?
