We had a magic show here at school today. One of the tricks was done with hula hoops. At one point, the magician held up a "Venn diagram" of 3 hoops and Austin piped up...."It's a Mickey!" Later, it was "Mrs. R~, Mrs, R~-look at the Mickey Mouse table cloth on the table!" It's taken two years, but they are THERE!

That's funny...I've got a similar story. I had all my kids (highschool) sign my scrapbook at the exam, and about half of them wrote "have fun at Disney Ms N-G!" I guess I talked about it a little.... plus while one class wrote the final I was sitting at my desk with my UG and Passporter open, setting up my itinerary.

My mom (who also works at my school) said she's going to put a sign around her neck that says "No, I'm not going to Disney World with Beth". She's just jealous. I told her I'd take her next year so she can babysit.

It is amazing how much we "Disney" our students My story is about the grade 6 music program. One of the things we learned this year is different styles of music. Well I reviewed a whole bunch with the students (rock, classical, etc) I asked the class if they could think of anything I missed.....4 kids piped up at the same time...Miss B you missed 'Disney' I guess I played the Disney CD so often it rubbed off on them. I tried to explaing that the Disney songs were examples of the styles of music..but they insisted that they were right.
