I've cancelled our holiday to Florida ..*dilemma*

Excellent news Jeanette ~ We will be there from the 29th October until the 18th November if you fancy having a Dis Meet:cool1:

Hopefully what ever i lose will be covered as the flights in october are cheaper than July:thumbsup2

the new dilemma is that 2 tickets for the july holiday were issued on the 18th october, the 3rd on the 1st November. And as we want to go on the 26th october instead, the tickets are only valid for 12 months, so it looks like i can't move the original holiday to October. i am looking at ways around this at the moment..

The only thing i can see doing is going on the July holiday and also book the october one, if i cancel the July one I have been told i will lose all my money. The only other alternative is to book the October holiday and go on the 17th October, this way my original ticket will be valid. But the only problem with this is that i will have to ask my school for another week off and i don't think thats fair to them.
After numerous phone calls to Virgin they have now told me to email them to see if anything can be done. So fingers crossed

Good luck Jeanette! I've heard lots of positive things about Virgin being really helpful with people in a bind, I hope they let you make those changes.

Fingers crossed. I hope you get something sorted out:)

omg what a nightmare!!
i can't go on the 17th as my tickets need to be used by this date..
My only option that i can see that is left, is to go in July, but shorten that holiday to 2 weeks instead of 3, this way the flight prices are the same and i dont lose any money, and i will get back a weeks car hire money. book the 2 weeks in October.
I have spoken to numerous virgin staff, but as i paid using miles+money my tickets are so restricted.
