I've seen something like that before, I think its great.

I'm at the end of doing my bathroom up. We started last Feb!

OMG! I thought I was being really slow, it took me all of last week to remove woodchip wallpaper, fill holes and cracks, & replaster 2 walls, sunday I started chipping away at the old tiles (they are really old so tend to splinter off rather than come away all in one) now I've got 2 other walls to replaster as the tile removal made huge holes in the walls, I managed to do one last night and will do another tonight, I can then leave them until thursday to dry as I'm out for Dads birthday tomorrow night. I've friday off so will start the new tiling then.
Hoping it'll all be done by end feb!

Would you like to come and finish mine off when your done with your own?

no probs! you can pay me in Disney Dollars!:rotfl2:

I think you're doing really well Carol, can't wait to see photos of finished work:goodvibes

I'm not sure it'll be that good! ;)

The suite is white and I'm not changing that even though I really want a new bath (but went without so I can afford to go to Canada this august) the main of the tiles will be white mosaics up to dado height (I'm nerdily excited about tiling mosaics as I've not done them before!) and full height behind the bath and shower area, I'm on the hunt on friday for a nice border mosaic colour, haven't decided which colour yet, I'm more concerned about getting the shape and finish of the mosaic right as some of them look really plastic. I am leaning towards a border in golds/red/oranges type and a strip border of gold. The walls that need painting are a part wall (around the door and above one small radiator) and from dado height upwards on the wall where the sink and loo are, around a window and around the main peice of tiling surrounding the bath and shower area. I've chosen a wall paint called Marzipan which is a dull gold colour, I've always had all white walls before and am fed up with it looking like a swimming pool changing area.
sorry, I go on, I could talk DIY all day!:confused3

:thumbsup2 Thanks Nat

in case anyone was wondering its a book from DIYers anonymous! :rotfl2:

Sounds really nice! We have gone the whole hog and put in a new white suite plus shower and moved the position of the bath and sink. Couldn't afford real mosaic's so we've got fake ones in a cream/stone colour all over the walls apart from near the door which is painted a chocolate suede colour. I want to buy some turquoise and brown towels that I've seen to give the room a bit of colour but DBF doesn't really like them :confused3

I bought my mosaics online and saved £200 over the cost of B&Q!
