Heard on GMA this morning that Ivan may not be done with Florida yet.
A reminant of Ivan was pushed back down south by high pressure, where it deluged Vero Beach with 4 inches of rain. There is a chance that this tropical depression could head to the Gulf of Mexico and reform as a tropical storm again, and would again be named Ivan.
From ABCnews.com:
"After hitting Florida last Thursday as a hurricane, Ivan weakened and broke apart as it traveled north, drenching southern and mid-Atlantic states before returning to sea. A slice of the storm turned southward, however, growing slightly as it traveled over warmer waters before reaching the state's southeastern coast."
