Well done. We were at The Grandstand last year, although we were the last block away from the main area, it was only a short walk. It's the first stop for the bus, which was excellent (only twice did we wait more than 15 mins & both times a cm appeared a rang in for one). Also, has a lovely pool area, with spa, kids water fountains & bar, where you can use your re fillable mugs.

thats where we were looking at, went on google earth but as that section had not been completed when the "images" had been taken couldnt see much...
...will def request GS, not interested in buses, but refillable mugs and kids pool works for us

Talking of helpful people what happened to Obi, he was always a great help with flight information but havent seen him on here for ages

You can sometimes see images of the Grandstand area on http://www.bing.com/maps/ but it just depends, from one angle it's a building site and from others it's fully built.

We're requesting The Grandstand again this year, hoping to be closer to the main area,but will be happy enough in tha same block. We may see you, I think you're there when we are for the pool meet. Or are you at the earlier one?

we are at 1st pool party but not 2nd, though im going to make green mickey heads so im sure we ll run into each other in the parks, they are only small after all

Still not overly sure yet, I actually can't remember when and where our already booked ADR's are for

EDIT - Just checked and we're having breakfast at Chef Mickey's that day so pool party is still a possibility

that would be great, come and join us at the pool party, okw main pool on the 13th... loads of kids killing each other and a bar with cold beer, burt and i will be in the jacuzzi with a bottle of champagne, luckily with both have understanding partners lol!!!
