After a good 3 hours of deciding what to do where to stay etc We have finally booked.Doing 10 nights SSR with free DDP and 14 day tickets . Now need to rent some points for the last 4 nights so off topost a thread. Anyone suggest an area to stay at SSR.We have booked a studio.

I haven't stayed there yet, but am going to request Congress Park, as apparently that is nearest to DTD, and we want to walk there in the evenings!

Thanks guys.Booked four dining reservations as well. Its my 4oth on the 24th so booked chef mickeys at 11am and ohana at 19.30.Love both of these.Wanted canada in epcot but nothing availible. The site wouldnt accept my reservation number but presume it will take a few days to go through. Wish it would then I could try later in the holiday to book canada. Any other good resturants in epcot.Eaten at UK,MEXICO,MARRAKESH,BISTRO DE FRANCE AND ITALY.
oH POOH Going on the 20th september.Been looking at congress park or the grandstand. Both look good areas.xx

Great news! I've never stayed at SSR but I think UKDeb talks about the areas there in her trip report so have a look at that, some good photos from what I remember as well

Just a warning you cannot actually post a thread on the Rent/Trade part of the general DVC board (assuming that's what you were going to do of course!). Used to be able to but not anymore.
You can check other people with points available, but cannot actually start a thread requesting them direct...a shame really as we were at one point thinking of something along those lines.

I actually regret the dull 'JohnnySharp2' name I should have been more imaginative, Prince Johnny would have been a cool name.

Well done. We were at The Grandstand last year, although we were the last block away from the main area, it was only a short walk. It's the first stop for the bus, which was excellent (only twice did we wait more than 15 mins & both times a cm appeared a rang in for one). Also, has a lovely pool area, with spa, kids water fountains & bar, where you can use your re fillable mugs.
