I juct checked the 10 day weather forecast and the weather seems to be warming up!!! WOOOO HOOOO!!! The original forecast was for low 60's now it's low 70's!!! Maybe it will warm up even more as we get closer!!! It has been so cold here in NY I can't wait to get warm and see Mickey!!!

My 6 year old wants to add something....Here it is...

Hope it stays sunny and warm for you. I'm looking at a week from tomorrow and they are predicting some rain that week. I sure hope not. Hopefully, the forecast will get better as we get closer.

Enjoy your trip!!!

My dad was teasing me last week that it was only 10C a couple weeks ago. Just the other day my sister was telling me it had gone up to 30 C so woo-hoo! It's so cold here, I could definitely use some heat.

So is it really going to be in the 20's C (afternoon) and 10's C (night time) on the 3rd week of February?

I refuse to believe any weather reports. I had charted weather from three different services before I went. I packed for any condition (except snow) and found that was the way to go.
The weather changed constantly and what was supposed to be in the 70s before I left turned into the high 50s when I was there, the low to mid 60s turned into high 70s.
Just pack jeans, sweatshirts, light jackets, shorts and short sleeved shirts and you will be good to go.

I, for one, am paying way too much attention to the forecast. It keeps changing. One day I'm happy with it, today I'm not. I just have to look at it this way.....Anything is better that the weather here at home <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/28/28_3_10.gif' border=0></a>

I'm doing the dance<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/5/5_1_116.gif' border=0></a><a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/5/5_1_117.gif' border=0></a><a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10_1_20.gif' border=0></a><a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_1_112.gif' border=0></a>

Just pack an extra outfit for the type of weather you aren't expecting! (ie, if you are expecting cold weather- bring at least one pair of shorts and if you are expecting warm weather, bring at least one pair of pants and a lightweight jacket)....I learned this the hard way last year---- My Sis and I took my Son the week before Easter - and traditionally it is always warm as blazes - the forecast said 80's.....so we packed ALL shorts--- the night we got there, they had a cold front move in, and it was in the 50's the rest of the week! We were freezing!! I ended up going to the outlets to buy my Son some pants and everyone sweatshirts.

We are going again this year (week after Easter) - and we are purposefully only taking warm weather clothes again- in hopes that we jinx ourselves and get another cold front (we would rather have to go shopping than sweat to death ;) )---but I wouldn't recommend this technique to everyone ;) Jill

Woohooo!! We just saw that too! Our first day there is supposed to be the end of the rain as well!! Ill wear sweaters if I have to, just please don't let it be raining the whole time.

My dh now has the orlando weather page bookmarked!

Last year we had to miss the only showing of Spectromagic because of the rain. They cancelled it and we were so bummed!

Good luck and have so much fun!!

I'll join in on the single digit dance! :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Oh and one more thing...Ponchos. Plan in advance and you can buy them at Wal-Mart for about $2.00! Saves a few dollars! Plus, get red or blue and you will be easy to spot in the sea of yellow that Disney sells!

Absolutely!!! I don't care if it's 60 and raining in two weeks...

It HAS to be better than here....

Well, I just checked the forecast again and now it is back to the mid to high 60's. I have been packing and organizing all night and I've packed a little of everything. Thank goodness we have a washer & dryer in our room so I can pack fewer than I normally would.

And again, mid 60's are WAY better than freezing!! I just want to hang with Mickey anyway anyhow!!

Disney's ponchos are now clear. We still have ours from 4 years ago from AK, they are tan with Safari Mickey on the back.
The ones from WalMart only seem to last through one rainstorm, three rain storms would buy you a poncho that lasts (at least for us) for years.

I agree that some from Wal-Mart are rather flimsy but ours were about $2.50 a piece and we've had them for three trips now. Either choice seems a good one then.

Also, they were still using the yellow last February so the clear ones must be very new.

It will be a relief to my eyes to not see the moving mass of yellow!

Nice to see someone is careful with those plastic ponchos. :)
they can last for a long time if used correctly. I just have never seen the ones at WalMart that seemed sturdy.
They had those clear ones on our visit in Sept. and again last week, and yes, it is much nicer than the yellow parade we often see. :)
