its tough to be a bug concern??

ITTBAB is one of my favorite attractions at WDW! I love the show, but also the whole preshow where you get to see the TOL up close, and the clever posters!

Now HISTA I could do without. It's not that the attraction scares me or anything, it's just that the stereotyping is a bit annoying. The main character has a Polish/Eastern European sounding name -why is this okay still when it's not okay to stereotype other ethnic goups? Maybe it's a detail, but it's still annoying. Also, I think the story is annoying too, and the theming is ugly. They could utilize this space much better by putting back the original Figment ride and the imagination playground. That was so much fun! The Muppets also has the idea of something gone wrong, but it is better, IMHO. If you're really worried about ITTBAB, then try the Muppets (MGM) first.

:confused3 *is very confused* :confused3

Stereotyping? His name is Szalinski, but they never claim that he's Polish/Eastern European. And he speaks with an American accent. How is this stereotyping? Where did that even come from?

Okay, back on topic, I did the ITTBAB show when I was fifteen or so, and I hated the bugs crawling under your butt thing. It totally creeped me out. HISTA is creepy because of the mice. I was shaking after that happened because I have a fear of animals, and so I was literally about to cry. Our favorite 3D shows are the Muppets at MGM (It's hilarious, and nothing happens that should scare anyone.) and Mickey's Philharmagic :wizard: MP has all of the favorite Disney characters, a great theme, classic music, and a wonderful story. We LOVE it.

The show is very frightening for some toddlers, because at one point it fills with smoke (not REAL smoke, but seems like it) and giant spiders fall from the ceiling and bounce. At 7 (the age of reason), a child can distinguish between real and not real, and shouldn't be frightened.

The thing at the end is NOT a "shock," it is more like a massage. Little bumps come up in the seat and push your, um, rear end. It is funny. Even if your child is afraid of bugs, I'm sure he'd quickly realize it isn't REALLY bugs.

You also get spritzed with water - they spritz you with water on everything now. It has gotten old.

Go see ITTBAB! It is a great little show - in my top 2 for the Animal Kingdom (though haven't ridden Everest!)
