I do not know if the chefs at POR actually do cakes but know that they do at Grande Floridian as they were the ones who did the huge cake for the WL Anniversary. I would call guest services and inquire if I were you. You could also arrange to have a cake at a special dinner someplace and then it would not be sitting in a room . I am sure they deal with this all the time... Good luck.

I'm sure this has been asked before but does POR have hair dryers in the rooms. DH is driving me nuts, he does not want to check in any luggage so I am trying to bring as little as possible. He hates waiting for our luggage on the way back, it's always a problem with Philadelphia airport. I am going to try and ship my shampoo and stuff like that down the week before. Has anyone shipped stuff to the resort ahead of time?? My trip countdown has offically begun

yes they have hair dryers.

The shampoo there is very nice I did not bother bringing any. have a great time when you go.
never mailed but I know many have and had no problems.

This may have been asked before , if so sorry.I also might regret asking this for everyone might think I've lost my mind. Does anyonelse ever smell or feel POR after it as rained at home or smelled mainstreet in the MK when the blacktop of your steet is warmed from the sun. If you have thank god I'm not alone on this.When I mention this my DW she just rolls her eyes and shakes her head. Does anybodyelse have anything that takes them back to our little piece of heaven we like to call POR and MK.

no they don,t have any shower caps at POR. my wife always brings her own.

Is there bar soap supplied each day at POFQ? I read somewhere that some of the moderates do not supply soap (which really strikes me as very strange).

Just returned from the POR and yes, they have bar soap.

This is wishful thinking on my part, but...

If you had a relaxing evening to spend at POR (I'm including POFQ in this, too!), how would you spend it, just hanging out? I've heard about Bob Jackson, so he's on our list. The kids (7 & 9) may want to go swimming, but other than that, ???

Any suggestions will go on my list!

Sorry I cannot answer when he plays but I can tell you that the man who entertains at Scat's Lounge at POFQ is quite good also. Even my Grandkids liked him.
