Oh - all your kids are so adorable! DD princess: went to her prom tonight (Saturday) - I will see if I can remember how to post a pic.

I'm still up because of the "afterprom" party that my daughter is at at the neighbor's house. Surely they will settle down soon! They keep running back over her to get Wii games & stuff. :sad2:

Rascalmom, how lucky you live next door to that. :lmao: Oh well, at least you knew where she was and she was safe.

babytrees, she looked gorgeous and so happy! Her date is a cutie too. I actually saw quite a few dresses in that style with the girls -- I mean the bottom hem line. So different from the 80s with our big poofy skirts.

Oh, and speaking of after prom, they didn't do one here. I was really worried about them all driving home from a different town because you just never know who was going to be drinking and driving. My son's group ended up getting a hotel on one of the kids' parents credit cards right at the event, which actually was a great relief to me (they are all 18 or over). My son was afraid to tell me until I told him it would be nice if he had somewhere to stay in that town.

Cassidy came in at 3 this morning.....she didn't last the entire after prom time:lmao:

They did it at Dave & Busters (from what I understand a Chuck E. Cheese for the older set). I can't wait to hear how the night went.

My son's Prom is May 9 at the club level of Invesco Field (where the Denver Broncos play). He is going with a lot of other couples so they are renting a large limo/hummer. Dinner is somewhere in Denver but I'm not sure where. Every year his school and the neighboring school do their After Prom together so this year it is from 11:3- 4:00 AM at the other High School. I like working the registration since I get to see everyone as they arrive.

Anyways since my DS doesn't have a girlfriend, he is taking a good friend of his. He and his three best buddies all rented white tuxes ($150 each ) I'm sure it will be a fun night for all. Of course I will be crying remembering when my baby was just starting school :-(

My DD15 had her prom this past Friday night. It was great. They don't do after parties here but we did do breakfast here at our house for about 18 kids at 1:00 a.m. Lots of fun.

She was very self-concious about her braces - most of her friends have them off by now, so I had trouble getting to her to smile normally. I think she is beautiful just like she is though!:goodvibes

All the pictures are great! Ours isn't until May 16, so we still have awhile.
