Thanks for helping stamp out the rumor they may not be back this year.

:thanks: Can't wait to see them again in December :thumbsup2

God knows DHS needs it. I can't fathom how Disney seems bent on making the MK the only park that is attractive to guests.:confused3

Anyone have an idea of when they might be lit? Is it usually after Thanksgiving? Or possibly earlier? We'll be down mid November and have never seen them before......would be awesome to finally see them in person!:thumbsup2

Glad to hear that...one thing that we missed our last December visit...can't wait to see them this year!

I'm so happy! I booked this trip hoping I would be able to see the Osborne lights and its really going to happen :cool1:

Yay! We will be there the week before the Marathon, hopefully we'll get to catch the tail end of them!

Another question.....

Do they usually "flick the switch" early on in the evening, like 6PM? Or is it later?

The recording giving the history of Osborne Lights begins a little before 6:00. It's best to get there a few minutes early if you want to watch them light up... Streets of America can get very packed. For a less crowded view, go after Fantasmic... Studios will stay open an hour past closing with the lights remaining fully lit.

THANK YOU!!!!:worship::banana:

Wasn't the rumor that they were going away as part of adding something big and new to DHS? And didn't that potential addition get squashed for now? :(

Nice silver lining to have Osborne Lights confirmed though!

That was the original rumor. Now, most rumors refer to the fact that Mr. Osborne passed away and his heirs aren't happy with an abundance of Disney perks and Deluxe accommodations as was the original agreement. They are leaning more towards $$$$$$ and some free MagicBands ;)!

MK is OK but I love Epcot more. Maybe I will love it less when they turn it over to Frozen.
