It's never too early....WHO'S GOING DURING 12/04???

Will be their 12/5-12/12 with DH and DS who will celebrate his 5th BD with his first trip to Disney! Have reservations at POR but hoping like everyone else for a code so we can upgrade to AK.

Well you can take us off the list of those going in December.
I am actually OK with it, believe it or not.

We decided to go Memorial Weekend & the week after instead, BEFORE our APs expire, since we don't plan on renewing them.
I will miss MVMCP this year, but that's OK.

DH & I PROMISED each other a trip to WDW in 2005 for the Christmas celebrations ;)

Have fun everyone...I will have to live through you this year

The DW and I are going just the two of us Dec 2-Dec 5. No kids (we will have four by then).

I did not read every post but when do the MVMCP tickets go on sale?

Thanks

We will be there 12/2-12/10 at SSR. It is our DD's fifth birthday and the first trip with the grandparents and uncle. Should prove to be an adventure! See you all there.:earseek:

I might have already posted this (can't remember, we did a quick trip to Disneyland last week), but we had to change our dates from 12/3 - 12/11 to 12/10 - 12/18.

Still staying at the Marriot Grande Vista and then onsite at Universal.

Will these weeks be more crowded than the earlier week? Or will it still be relatively quiet?

Me, my DH, my DD (9), and my other DD (7) will be going December 4th through 16th. After which we will be going on our very first cruise the Disney Wonder 16th -19th. M birthdays on the 21st, so I'm getting an early present. I am so excited I can't wait!!!! My DH can't believe I am already this excited about it and want to plan so early. Apparently you guys understand me and my excitement!
We went to Disney World once before at christmas time but my DD was only 1 at that time, so I am looking forward to seeing and doing more this time.

What are the top things we should do? We did not get to do anything other than looking at all the festive decorations last time.

See You There:cutie: princess: :earsgirl: :earsboy:

Me, my DH, DD-7 and DS-4 will be going 12-1 thru 12-6. We are planning to go to MVMCP for the first time. A couple questions --

What time is the parade at the CP?

Is it normally really crowded and how early before it opens do you need to get there?

We were originally planning on staying at AK or CBR but are know considering ASM because I think the kids will love the decor. Any comments on this property?

Can't wait till Dec.!!:earsgirl: :earsboy: princess: pirate:

Definitely do MVMCP, especially since you have children. They will love it. And take them to visit all the Santa Clauses in each country in World Showcase. Those are very cool, and educational at the same time.
One more thing, bring them to Camp Minnie Mickey in AK. There are Christmas trees all over the place from Piglet, Tigger, Poo, Simba....a lot of trees to say the least! And Mickey and Minnie are back there dressed in their holiday attire for pictures.

There are two parades, but I can't remember the times. The second one is less crowded however.

Last year, we went to the last MVMCP and it was sold out, but we never waited more than 15 minutes to ride anything. I hear the crowds are much smaller during the week, but again, I didn't have any problems with the Friday crowd. You can get there pretty early, we arrived at 5:30 and were given armbands. As they clear the park of "lay folk," MVMCP goers are directed on the right side of Main Street and into Tomorrowland to enjoy the rides there for an hour before the official start of the party.

The decor is great at all the resorts, but I do think the All Star resorts are the most kid-friendly. My nieces loved it when we went, and they were 6 and 9.

Were going in December!!:Pinkbounc

The cast
Dh(32)
Me the wife(30)
DD(3 when we arrive turns 4 while we are there)
DS (18 months)

We will arrive December 6th and check out December 13th. Staying at the All Stars Movies Resort, but I am hoping for a great Ap rate for the Mods.

I have been planning this trip sense our DD was born. I think I am the only one in my family that is really excited!! I LOVE THE MOUSE!!!

I LOVE the All Stars (particularly Movies)! BUT!!!!! I've read on several threads that early December is Pop Warner season, and they always stay at the All Stars. Even though we are travelling with lots of kids, I'm not too interested in having Pop Warner cheerleaders practicing outside my room! LOL!!!

I've read that Pop Century will NOT be used for conventions of any type, so we are staying there. You might want to consider that move, also, or at the very least investigate for yourselves. I'm excited to stay at Pop---it won't even be a year old yet!!! However, if a good code comes out, get outta my POR way!!!

We'll be there!

8-22

Me
Del aka Scuba Steve
Commando Nikki
Airman Chris
Beatlebum
Em

possibly;

Pop Century will never be the same.

Commando Nikki is threating water pistols this time.

We are going 12/4-12/11. This will be our first time going to WDW during the holidays and I am SUPER EXCITED! My DS will be celebrating his 4th birthday on 12/7 and I will be celebrating my 34th on 12/8! Best birthday present EVER!!

I'm using up the few points I'll have left after sis's stay - already booked BWV!!! We are beyond excited !!! :hyper:

Looks like we'll just miss that crazy Delswife crew !!!;)
