Emma is 3 months! I wonder if she already has a favorite WDW ride. You have to wonder at night in her little baby dreams if she dreams of train whistles, Monorail conductors, and large pantomiming friendly characters.
Anyhoo, those fancy ice cream sandwiches look great, though I do bet they get messy! Love the shot with your three little ones. Felt exhausted just looking at that.
Definitely do think about what, if anything, she retained from the trip. On the flip side her entire life has included trips to meet mice that are 5 times your size, mermaids, meals in castles, etc. .... she is going to be disappointed when she realizes that isn't normal life

The Brioche ice cream sandwhiches are great and I think it if wasn't so hot they wouldn't have nearly gotten so messy - more the heat of the day than anything that got to them.
Thanks! There were moments of exhaustion - and moments like that one that seemed to last a lot longer than they did in actuality - but overall it was totally worth it!
So, I'm sure I could look this up, but I'm feeling lazy and uninformed, so: what are the details of the (rumored) plans for Soarin'?![]()
So there are a ton of rumors out there but from what I can gather:
- Disneyland, EPCOT, Shanghai Disneyland, and Tokyo Disney Sea will all be getting new Soarin' movies
- It is unclear if they will all be getting the same movie or different ones.
- Whatever is produced will be more than just "over California" with possible names being "Soarin' over the World" and "Soarin' over the Horizon" ... though it is possible that the one in Disneyland, CA will still be focused on CA and the one in EPCOT will be focused on the East Coast (NYC, down to Disney World)
- Expected locations to be included in some/all of the films: England, France, Italy, Egypt, India, China, Japan, and for the U.S.A: the Grand Canyon, New York, Disney World. Other posible destinations include: Brasil and Rio de Janeiro's bay or Iguacu Falls, The Amazonia forest or the old Inca Machu-Pichu fortress in Peru
- It is understood they have already filmed new footage of Disneyland CA and California Adventure (with special focus on Carsland) - again, unclear which locations will get that footage.
- Film will be upgraded to digital and 4K and all that stuff
- Rumor that it will have the variable nature of Star Tours - that is, will get different segments each ride
- Strong rumor that they will be adding a third theater to the EPCOT location
- Originally saw expected to open in 2015, but now seeing more like 2016 expected given the building a new theater (seeing some thoughts that they will build the new theather for the new movie, then retrofit the existing theaters so the ride won't be totally closed at all/much)
Ok, so that was tons of speculation

Wow, I didn't notice until seeing the comments, but Olivia really does have a flexible neck!
Man, I often feel like I don't have enough hands with one kid around - I don't know how you do it with three! That picture does seem to sum it up well, though.
Mmmm, I had (most of) one of those Croque Glaces on my last trip. Great treat and I never would have known about it without the DIS (and I had an ice cream martini with it). Yum!!
yeah, Olivia is pretty flexible and seems to have inherited some of that hyperflexibility from Judi. One reason we will likely keep her out of gymnastics so as to not exacerbate that
Hey, you figure it out.... just like you have to figure out how to do things with one kid. Doesn't mean it is always easy, but you figure it out and make it work

Ooh, having it with an ice cream martini sounds really nice! Definitely one of my favorite treats at WDW and they were definitely big enough to split which was nice.
Yum! I love Sunshine Seasons!
Hehehe I have a German friend who would be very proud of me if I hit Deutsche on SE and practised a little!
That queue is soooo long!
Awww, that's so cute!
Wow! Emma is getting so big! Look at her, what a cutie.
Yeah, the film on Soarin' really needs to be cleaned up. I still love the ride though.
Those Croque Glace look amazing. On my list for next trip!
We definitely were happy with the quality of the food at Sunshine Seasons. Depending on when we travel and if Food & Wine is going on not sure how often we will make it there, but definitely will be keeping it on the list of possible places to go again.
Yeah, I took German in High School and was able to catch some things (especially knowing the general script helped) but it goes pretty fast so was a challenge to totally keep up. It turned out to be a fun moment but if that was like our first time on the ride I would have been more upset.
Yeah, the quality of the film doesn't make me enjoy the attraction less - just excited for a new version when you see how the quality goes up like with the new version of Star Tours
Definitely support you having the Croque Glace on your list
