Don't worry, I think my cringe-worthy rat encounter was a once in a lifetime thing. I doubt that will ever happen to anybody ever again. It sure made for a good story though! How many people can say they went to Disney and had a rat crawl up their leg?

Thanks! I am excited too! I was having a bit of anxiety last week...thinking I was going to forget something or miss something or something go wrong! Now, I told myself to just let go and have fun on the trip. It will be great no matter what! A certain shirt that I may forget or pair of shoes or whatever is not going to make or break the trip! I am trying actually to not do much Christmas stuff now so I can save all the fun for Disney!!!! I am going to take tons of photos!!! I am going to get another memory card next week just in case!

Ok...I am wrapping this itinerary up here in the next day or two. I have some other things to deal with before leaving and only two weeks left!

So, let's talk animals!!!

Today is our only Animal Kingdom day. We will have had a late night the night before, but have an early breakfast ADR. We are eating at Tusker House at 8:00 with Jen and her family! We will not get a ton of sleep, but we only have a short bus trip, so that helps! Our whole family loves Tusker House, so that will be incentive to get up...plus meeting our new buds!!!!!

So, after a nice breakfast, we will be spending the day at Animal Kingdom. We will hit the safari first thing, then work our way around the park. We were going to be eating at Yak and Yeti for lunch this day, but have cancelled that. We are going to just get CS instead. I am not sure that we will see the parade here. We have seen it before (both the regular and Christmas version).

AK has evening Extra Magic Hours this day. I don't know that we will need to stay for all of them, but we will stay for at least some because I want to see this park at night since we never have. Also, I want to ride EE at night.

I am thinking we will not take an afternoon break at the resort today because we want to get the whole park in and it's the only day we are there. If it looks like we have plenty of time we may...just play that one by ear!

After a bit of EMH, we will head back to AKL and relax for a bit before heading to DTD. For dinner, we are just getting some sandwiches from Earl of Sandwich. Love the sandwiches there!!!! After a light dinner, we will head to Raglan Road! This is the night that Lulu will dance there! I am so excited for this!!! (So is she!) Her teacher has been working with her a little extra before and after her classes to get her ready.

Anyway, we will probably leave there pretty late. Then, it's back to AKL to bed! It's ok that we will get back a bit late again because the next day is our last park day and there is a later start.

Thanks!! Our video camera is kind of outdated and we really never used it when it was current. So, I honestly don't even know if it works? I guess I could bring my point and shoot and take video on that?? We'll see! Either way, I will definitely take tons of pictures!

I love this breakfast! And, eating it with some new friends will make it better!

Ohhhhh! You must go to Earl! It is CS!! They have the best sandwiches. We are paying oop because we are not on the dining plan when we are at AKL...got the room discount instead. But even oop, it is really cheap! The sandwiches are filling and they are $5.75 each. You and Greg could eat for under $15 if you share a drink (which we do often).

I will let you know how everything goes!!! I am happy for her! She has been practicing!!
