Awww tell Pooty I LOVE CORN DOGS!!!! So yummy, LOL I even like the vegetarian ones. I'm not a veggie, but I do like a lot of different soy products. I bet you've never seen anyone have a soy dog for lunch and then a big fat steak for dinner, have you!?!? Anyway, I'm down with the corn dogs!!

Day 7 looks good. I like that you've fit it some down time and a few of your days.

What day (date wise) is day 7? LOL I've lost count. Anyway we'll be at MVMCP on 12/8, any luck!?!?!?!

The dessert party sounds great!! We opted not to do it, the only night we would really have to do it would be our MVMCP night and I really want to enjoy everything the party has to offer. We've been to MNSSHP and I feel like we didn't appreciate "THE" party. We were party newbies and spent a lot of time on rides, which was fun but I missed all the characters and all the other stuff going on. Anyway, take lots of pictures and let us know how the desserts are!!!!

The dessert party is the reason that we are doing the MVMCP!! LOL I can't turn down all those great desserts! I tried to get in another night, but no luck!!! So, we are going to still try and squeeze as much party stuff as possible...we'll see!

Yeah...Logan is sick...swine!!!! Took him to the dr yesterday and his nose swab was positive AND for the regular flu!!! He is sooo sick, but seems a bit better tonight. Meds are pretty strong, so hope they work quick! Best part is...he had the vaccine!!!! I am officially at 3 weeks! 21 days from now I will have re-buckled my seatbelt to prepare for decent at Orlando Int'l Airport!!!!! LOL

EEEk!!! Swine?! Poor baby! Feel better Logan! I am hesitant to get Madi the vaccine, she doesn't go to school/daycare and her friends and interactions are limited... again - EEK! Poor lil guy!

After the rest...it's off to the MK for the MVMCP!!! I was not going to do this (ahem, Jen!) But, we are because I can't NOT do the dessert party! But, I am getting excited for it now that I am seeing pix and videos of the party. We have gone before, but it's a new year and that excites me!! So, we will try to get in a few rides before the dessert party. Then, head to that most lovely sugar-filled event!

Day 7 sounds great! I thought about doing T-Rex, but it didn't make the final itinerary as we've got limited time and wanted to maximize our theme park days.

I paid off my trip a couple days ago, so now I'll be on the lookout for the Mickey Mail! I suppose it probably won't come until December since our trip is at the beginning of January, but it will give me a reason to look forward to getting the mail (bills, catalogs for stuff I don't want or can't afford, blah blah...OH SOMETHING FROM DISNEY! *boing*)

I have never watched Wishes from there. I am really going for the food more than the viewing location...most I think go for the location...not me!!! Fill me up with that sweet goodness! LOL Uhhhhhhh RATS???!!! Never saw one in Disney! I know they can be anywhere, but they are so clean there I just figured...Rats are not very magical are they??

We used to like watching Wishes from there as there were tables and chairs you could sit on and you didn't get crowded or people standing in front of you. Now that you have to pay for the dessert party to watch from there we will probably find another spot. That and the other reason....

Rats do happen at Disney and in that very area, I unfortunately know this from personal experience. You can read about it in my 2008 trip report, here's the link to the particular part about the rat incident.

Yes! 100% I haven't done MVMCP but back in 2006 we went to MNSSHP and totally loved it!!! There are different events and shows going on that don't run during regular park hours, s special parade, characters dressed in their Holiday finery, and free cookies and cocoa!! And there is something about bring in the park for a special event. We didn't wait on any lines for anything. I think you have come to the wrong place if you don't want to go, but if you do then you're in the right place. And honestly, when it comes down to it, it's vacation, and a DISNEY VACATION. This is the time to splurge!!!

Well, I just purchased the tickets and I am so excited!! We are going on November 29th (one of the premium nights), but it is the only night we could fit into our schedule. No looking back now. I convinced my husband by telling him that he gets his Tennessee football and basketball season tickets and I should get what I want too! It helped that my 3yo DS started saying "Daddy, can we go to Mickey's Christmas party?" How can you resist that?
