Ok, I've been a TERRIBLE bride not keeping up with my planning journal. In my defense though, right after my last post I got the flu and then I've had 3 trips out of town since then, so I've been a little busy, but still shouldn't have neglected my PJ! Here are the things that I can remember that are new or exciting...
First, This week Disney FINALLY announced fireworks the night of our wedding!!!
I've been checking almost daily and they finally decided no P&PP that night and they changed the MK hours back to 9pm and added Wishes!! So today I called and changed our Grand 1 departure from 9:30 pm (the best guess of when we should go incase there were going to be fireworks) to 8:30 for 9pm fireworks!! Let me tell you, it was hard to get the first CM to book the cruise at all. He kept saying - there aren't any fireworks on the 29th, how about the 28th? So I would explain, again, that we were getting married on the 29th, and the 28th wasn't the same.

Finally he booked it but he made sure to tell me that it wouldn't be a Wishes cruise as there was no wishes because MK was closing at 7, so just a cruise around the lagoon. But I had faith the mouse would come thru for us!! Anyway, the CM today was very helpful and now we DO have a Wishes cruise!!
I asked my planner about putting some purple touches into my cake, but she said the GF bakery refuses to do anything to tweak the standard cake. Seems odd since I'm sure some of the brides on here have done it, but whatever... I did send her a pic of a cake from here (purple girl I think) that was just white with purple mickey shaped dots and asked how much extra to get that cake. I'm hoping not much so I can get a little purple in my wedding.
Oh, also my MOH (who is also my sister) FINALLY ordered her dress. Yes, she had 2 years and waited until 8 weeks before the wedding to look for and buy a dress.

SO that's done, we ordered DF's tux and made the list for the tux place for the rest of the guys. DF's dad is so excited he's going to get fitted tomorrow.

We're staring to get RSVP's back, so that's fun - for some reason I love getting little cards in the mail, even if I know what they are! Of course with only 18 guests, we didn't really even need invites or reply cards, but I did them anyway just becaUSE - PLUS I got them for $5 and already had the stamps, so why not!
I got my tiara and veil. My sister, mom and niece and I all met up in NYC a couple weekends back and as they were packing to leave my mom got knocked over the head with my sister's veil and tiara. Neither of them knew she had it in her closet, so we all figured it was a sign I should wear it. Plus, I didn't have either, and she never wore them (she eloped after cancelling her big wedding) so one less thing for me to worry about. The only question I have is, it has a band that goes around the back of my head and it's white. How do I hide that???? The veil will not cover it all and I think I want to take the veil off after the ceremony, so what do I do with the big white halo around my head???
Whatelse? Hmmm, that might really be it. This whole process has been really easy (probably based on the fact that I did it once already) People keep asking me how the planning is going, and really it's done. Even my hair dresser mentioned today that I'm the most relaxed bride she's seen - I guess it must be that since the ultimate problem happened last year (no wedding

) this year whatever we do, whatever goes wrong, it'll be great because we'll actually get married!
I'm off now to wrap my attendant gifts. Heck, I'll be ready to leave for DW here soon, and then I'll have to sit around and wait for a few weeks!!!
