Taken from Betty Crocker’s 4 Ingredient Dinners

Crunchy Oven Fried Chicken
-1/4 cup Butter or Margarine
-5 cups cornflake cereal
-2 teaspoons Paprika
-3-31/2 lbs cut up broiler-fryer chicken

1. Heat oven to 375. Melt butter in jelly-roll pan, 15 1/2x10 1/2x1 inch, in oven
2. Place cornflakes, paprika, 1 teaspoon slat and ¼ teaspoon pepper in blender. Cover and blend on medium speed until mixture is fine crumbs. Dip chicken into melted butter, then coast evenly with cornflake mixture. Place chicken, skin sides up, in pan.
3. Bake uncovered 45-60 minutes or until juice is no longer pink when centers of thickest pieces are cut.
*For a lower fate alternative: remove the skin from the chicken before dipping it into the melted butter.

Skillet Fried Chicken
-1/2 cup flour
-1 tablespoon Paprika
-3-31/2 lbs cut up broiler-fryer chicken
-Vegetable Oil

1. Mix flour, paprika, 1 ½ teaspoons salt and ½ teaspoon of pepper. Coat chicken with flour mixture.
2. Heat oil (1/4 inch) in 12 inch nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Cook chicken in oil about 10 minutes or until light brown on all sides; reduce heat to low. Turn chicken skin sides up.
3. Simmer uncovered about 20 minutes, without turning, until juice of chicken is no longer pink when centers of thickest pieces are cut.
