ITS COMING -Nov. 2014 Free Dining - waiting, watching, wishing & worrying thread

We're a quarter of a the way through the year. Is it the norm for no free dining or SPD promo's to be out yet?

While the promos would be later this year, if they keep it the same as they have in years past, pins might be available at any time, as when we went in 2102, we got our pin in Mid April for an early November trip.

We're in NJ too... you must be flying Spirit! We will be there the same time as you, our dates are Nov. 12-19! We picked those days because of Spirits low prices on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We're staying at POR

Yup Spirit!!! Flying our on a Wednesday and coming home on a Tuesday has been great for us. It saved me a ton of money last trip too! We are booked on the 7:30am flight on the 12th. POR is my usual resort, I just love it there! but staying at Pop this time. Enjoy!!!

That airfair rate is great!! Who did you book with?

Spirit! Most people will say they nickle and dime you to death but I have found the lowest fares from them, so I don't mind paying for our bags. It works out to be cheaper with the bag fees than any other airline.

We booked Jet blue today for our trip. 2 adults/1 little round trip from providence for a little over $600. I'm thrilled w those prices. Everywhere else so far was looking to be upwards of 1200.00 or more.
Hoping for free dining too- but not banking on it. Hoping history repeats itself!

Last year, Fall PINs started going out on April 3. They go out in multiple waves. I didn't get mine until the end of May. Good luck!

We booked our airfare yesterday too for Nov 21-28 Jetblue. Fingers crossed we can get in on FD! I'm a ball of nerves now - but our flights went up $150 each overnight so I'm sure it was the right decision...now the waiting game

September FD info should be coming out any time now (probably by beginning/middle of May). Oct/Nov/Dec we don't usually see until July.

I've been stalking the Jet Blue website for the past month waiting for Nov flights to open. Wouldn't you know it that yesterday I decided to go into NYC with my nephew and never checked the website all day. And that is the day flights were opened. I did manage to get flights this morning for $268 RT from Newark. Hoping for a good room only discount or a PIN. This is only a 5 night trip - we are mainly going for F&W and possibly MVMCP.

Went to disney in 2012. All of us loved it. Going again November 11-18, though we have flexibility in the dates. I got a coupon code in the mail which saved us $100 (better than nothing) on AOA standard room. We are willing to change to Pop if free dining is not included in AOA. We are even willing to leave a few days later if free dining happens then. The waiting game is the hardest part.

Am I the only one that it agrevates that Disney thinks we should start planning at 180 days, but they don't use the same time frame for there discounts. I will probably go ahead and bood a room at AOA for the week we are planning on going just to I can get all my ADRs made knowing full well if a good promo comes along I will change by reservation. AOA is our no discount availbe fall back :>

Oh yeah, me too. Last year I ended up booking our package in order to be able to make our 180+10 ADRs. Lo and behold, once they announced free dining I couldn't get thru on the phone to add the discount to my reservation so I ended up booking the free dining thru the website and calling days later to cancel my original booking. It will be the same situation for me this year. (Assuming, of course, that I get lucky and they offer free dining...lol)

If the dates follow last years you should be fine. I am in the same boat - rolled the dice and booked our flights on JetBlue when they opened on Sunday. The prices have gone up $142 per ticket since then!!
