I called right at 7 and only had to hold for a couple minutes. now the actual phone call talking to the cast member took longer but I'm all booked now! Staying at CSR Nov 15-22 2 rooms 7 people Free dining saved me $2000!

The Disney Magic is already gone for us so we cancelled our trip. We may go back if they make some changes or if our son asks to go. I'm just curious about not getting notified. I'll look for your post.

Sorry, I meant where is the official info. I saw the first post but if we're getting a discount, it's nice to see it here in advance but we should also get some sort of notification from Visa, otherwise if you aren't stalking this board you aren't going to know and it's not a discount. We shouldn't have to rely on anonymous posters to find out the benefits of having the card.

Take a deep breath...I've had a DV for YEARS,and have only got an e-mail or notice once...and that was a couple of days after it went live!! Don't stress...you'll be able to get FD at some point...we here on the DIS tend to be a bit more(A LOT MORE)on top of this stuff than most folks....take it easy.

Well, you could call Chase to get the info, although they're giving incorrect information for the most part. No, you shouldn't have to rely on anonymous posters but sometimes it's either that or not getting the discount. I refuse to let my indignation lose me a huge chunk of savings.

I'd say the majority if DV holders don't receive the emails. A lot of people here would be SOL if they didn't have the heads up.

I have had the DV since it first came out and have NEVER received an email. I have always depended on everyone here to get the information.

It's going To keep me in the Port Orleans French quarter with a 30% off. Only other resort I would consider would be riverside . Darn Got about a $650 discount off the room so I figured if we dine at our favorite places at our cost and the rest of the time regular food, will cost about 800 So it's not too bad for us actually. To get the room discount And still eating at all of our favorite places won't be too much of a difference maybe two Hundred. If lose this bounce back I'll never get it back the way POF Q is going

If you recently got the card maybe it's not in the system yet I don't recall getting an email last year when I got my visa card it was real close to when we were going. But this morning I opened my email and I had one
