Just discovered this...cancelled, rebooked an voila!!! 3 people return $331.80 us dollars.

Our return flight was filling up so I had booked it last week at $84 each one way. With the credit from that flight i only had to pay an extra $54 for the other direction!!!

Well I'm sad that I didn't manage to snag a DING for our trip coming up Feb 8th....but it's still 1/2 the price of flying out of YYZ. And, we got such an amazing deal last Feb ($29 each way) that we managed to pay for another trip last Sept with our credit so I suppose I can't complain too much!! I guess you could say I am DING spoiled! Now I'll just have to keep an eye out for our November trip!

We already have flights booked. But I see that some of you cancel and rebook. Can you do both transactions online? Will they credit your CC or does the entire payment from the old tickets remain as a credit to be used later for travel ? Or can you use the credit for the new tickets !!

Sorry for all the questions.. we are new to using Southwest and lucked out last fall that the tickets we $49 the first time we checked. The ones we have were $79 which is still good but if I can get them cheaper I would love to.

My DH came home at 7:30pm and the deadline was 7:00pm

I was debating whether to book for a quickie trip over May 24th long weekend

Oh well, here's hoping that another DING comes up again soon!!!

Yes you can just cancel and rebook online and use your credit to rebook, IF you stay on the same flight and everything stays the same you can phone the long distance # and get your money back on your CC.

I did it MANY times on my fight for Jan last year.
price dropped from $1090 for the 5 of us to $388... GREAT savings!!!

There are Dings every day -- usually twice a day. Not all have Buffalo - Orlando so you have to watch for them. No pattern that I've been able to detect so I look at all of them.

I just scroll down to where Orlando shows up to see what comes up!
