Fairly sucky. I REALLY hope Fran's leg gets better soon. I told her not to get out of bed today!

She had a small wound that just got worse and worse, now it is a very icky full blown infection. She's on antibiotics and taking morphine for the pain.

I hope the antibiotics take effect quickly. Does the prescriber know you are planning to fly soon?

Yeah, I was afraid we might have to cancel the trip, but she seems to think it will be better enough by then.

She also gave us the go ahead to drive to Tulare, but Fran has to lay down in the back of the SUV and keep her leg flat, not sitting upright.

The redhead is the current Australian Prime Minister. Her name is Julia Gillard and she made the news lately because Queen Elizabeth II is visiting. HRH is our head of state....we're still not a republic. The republican movement has been around for a long time but never gotten the majority vote everytime its gone to a referendum. Julia Gillard is pro-republic and when she greeted HRH, she didn't curtsey to the Queen. Made the newspaper and internet news, even in the US.

I'm paying bills and I've got our cancerous cat trying to sit on me. The tumor must be getting worse for her because she keeps losing her balance and falling off of places when she is sleeping.

Are you talking about the non-curtsey? She doesn't really have to....although she's lucky that we live in the 21st century. Can you imagine in days gone by?.....Off with her Head!
