BBall glad to hear your feeling better. Its been one of those days. I hate AT&T. Internet has been broken on and off all day. I have put up with this for almost a year. I finally left a message on their FB. Its been a terrible day for food. I did not eat properly and now I am starving.

Your vacation sounds like fun. I love cruising. I cant afford DCL. I have only cruised CC. I liked the Bahamas. Our first cruise was coulpled with 5 days at WDW.

DW and I did DCL once before. 3 nights to the Bahamas on the Wonder. We loved it! We're excited to do it again! We did a week-long Caribbean cruise on RC as part of our honeymoon. That was great too! I agree that DCL is VERY expensive. We're splurging because it's such a milestone and it's what my parents want. We're still able to do WDW as well only because we are DVC members and that's already paid for! I should have specified that our WDW portion is just our little family, and the rest of the extended family is on their own. I am sure some of them will try come to WDW as well, but before/after and for how long... who knows??

Sorry you're having problems with AT&T. We have FIOS now. No problems with it like we used to have with Cablevision, so I am very happy.

Next trip is a doozy... thinking about doing a PTR for it once I finally get around to finishing the current TR.

As of right now, we're booked on DCL 4 night Bahamas cruise on the Dream August 1-5, 2012. We have not booked yet, but WILL be booking two separate WDW stays to make a "cruise sandwich". The length of each of those and where we'll be staying is still up in the air.

The cruise is in celebration of my parents' 50th anniversary. We have 17 people going, in 6 rooms. It was 18 originally, but my brother broke up with his GF.

WOW! That is a doozy of a trip. And a lot of people. I wonder what Disney is going to do for family/grand gatherings now that they have discontinued the special events.

Maybe your brother might have a new GF by the time the trip comes round.

I will go back to comcast, I have never had so many problems. I posted it on their FB page, will see if I get an answer.

Our very first cruise we actually won in a raffle. That was sweet, everything was paid for. So we just added 5 days for WDW. That was our first time there. And we went on a second cruise in 09. I really enjoyed WDW.

Once I know I can make hotel ressies. I made train reservations already as I needed a good time. The only thing not paid for is the hotel and food. But I dont need a fancy hotel for two nights. We will get to meet Alison and Fran. I am sorry you didnt get to meet my DH. You have to wait till 2013. I still have to deal with the vegas trip. Only 9 months out.

Speaking of that Vegas if you have any ideas for raffle stuff I will take any and all ideas. I got one thing already. Its a good sized Barbque grill stuff in a golf bag.

Its out of Long Beach. We decided to add to the golf tournament, we are going to do some raffles. So it needs to be golf related since that is what they are all into. We are trying to get some stuff donated. I was thinking of making the trophys look like a slot machine this year.

What about going to local golf stores and asking for donations or vouchers?

Massages and spa treatments are also good options for voucher donations. Golfers might like a massage after a long day in the field.

Electronic games? There are a lot of computer or console type golf games as well?

Golf lessons?

Golf balls, socks, gloves ... that sort of thing?

And I can occassionally find golf ball chocolates here!

We are asking for stuff like caps, shirts, gloves etc..

gift cards are tough as people live all over. Massage not men. The one woman might. She looks girlie girl.

Golf lessons? No most of these guys are how you say very well to do. Could someone be my dad?


They all play really good. Chris's dad used to be a pro golfer.

It depends on the golf lesson. My brothers both play golf and they sometimes get specialty lessons... just to brush up on a skill ....or the finely hone their golf swing.


Is there any where you can get autographed stuff donated?

Unfortunatly no.

The one guy went to that very expensive school in Texas or Arizona a few months ago. Anything I could give in golf lessons I would be laughed at.
