This may be my last post tonight, but I've had many friends over the years employed by DL and many of the called it Mauschwitz. It appears that is a common musician term, but I would not be surprised if people have not heard this term

I know. With the solar panels, we are pumping in electricity to grid right now during the sunny days. We still have overcast days; but we should be net producers over the summer.

It comes as a credit on our electric bill.

For the last 2 years, we haven't had to pay for electricity from about November through to May.

That's good, it can depend on the state in the US. Some will pay you for if the net flow is positive some only reduce the bill. Obviously one would make the country more energy independent.

Well, we got the system where they only pay us for the net excess we produce. Most of us were hoping for a pay for production system but the electric companies lobbied the government and ended up something that benefits them more.
