That's what my forecast is too. But it might be around 60 so I expect it to feel quite nice. But then the temperature is going to fall and in a few days the rain may be snow again.


I also cut down my poppies. I took the rest of the flower, which is not pedals and is dry. I took the pod from the blossoms and put them in a couple new areas. Hopefully they get in the ground and germinate so I have a couple new flower beds next summer.

I went to the local nursery today and bought me 2 punnets of lettuce seedlings, a punnet of zucchini (or courgette), a punnet of snow peas and one punnet of corn.

I've been weeding the garden and preparing the soil. It might be about time to plant some vegies this year....
I'll get some tomatoes soon. Traditionally, we don't plant tomatoes until after the first week in November.

Not to get blood and gore going, but have any of you heard about the nasty shooting that went on in Seal Beach? It's pretty close to where I live and in fact we used to eat at the sushi bar in that same shopping center. Scary stuff!

A punnet? I'll take a picture....but a punnet is a small plastic container. You would have come across an example when you buy strawberries in your stores.

My ear is still attached. The doc said it's healing well, so i'll take his word for it. I got my hair cut yesterday, and even though I warned the barber about it, I swear he managed to hit my ear with every stroke of the clippers and/or the comb.

I had to look at myself alot today on video and I know I'm hyper-aware of it, but that ear definitely sticks out more that it used to! Between that and my facial spasm/tic issue making my eye on that same side look like it's more closed than the other... so I kind of look like Sloth from the Goonies!

Sunny and Mac are both flame point siamese and then Olga (who lives in #2) is a Russian Blue. She has her own apartment, and pascha who has a cancerous tumor. This is her before we knew what the tumor was, we thought the would would heal and thus she had the lampshade, but now know it won't heal so we just let her bleed all over the place now.

Does Olga have her own place, or do Olga and Pascha share it?

There was one today on the Idaho news. I gather it's rare in that town because the person being interviewed was not very good at answering questions asked by the reporter. Small time tv.

Yeah, that was it only blocks away from Walt's Wharf. Right out on PCH. We used to eat at a sushi bar in the same shopping center. Really tragic. No one I knew was involved, but could have been. Scary, the guy was a total psycho.

Yes, Olga has her own 2 bed apt. We tried keeping the door open last week, but the white things went over there so much she started tostay outside so muchvwe realized she was annoyed with the company. She was the FILs cat and we knew she had to be a one cat household cat when he took her. We just didn't think about the consequences at the time!

Well, Disney says they reserve the right to use it for promotional purposes... though I doubt they would end up doing so.

As far as a good side... maybe I lost it?
