And I'm just about bursting with excitement (and a whole heap of stress) So I just figured I'd throw a post out here to relieve some of my building excitement.

I check this forum daily.... makes where I'm heading feel a bit less ominous. Thanks for providing the info!

Wishing you all my best Amabelle. I think I remember reading that you will be starting out on the Wonder correct???

I'm trying to pull off a surprise 50th Birthday Cruise on the Wonder for my DW the end of February(2/29). There's so much to do, in so little time. Don't worry ladies, I will tell her about the cruise in plenty of time so she can pack her own clothes and personal items. My DW was supposed to go on a ladies retreat for her 50th Birthday, but the retreat was canceled this week, and she is feeling bummed out about that.

Good luck with the surprise. I am sure you wife will be thrilled, it would be great if your daughter could do all her packing and you could just surprise her when you left for the airport..

For those asking and wondering, I still don't know what ship I am on. I won't find out until I get there. I have reason to assume that I'm on the Wonder but since my preference is the Magic, I'm hoping they have not assigned my ship yet because they are waiting to see if something opens on the Magic. But either way, I won't be disappointed. Great things about working on both ships.

So if you are cruising in the next year, just look for "Amy from Canada". I'm starting out with the 10-12 year olds, potentially moving to the Teens if a position becomes available.

My frist "training" cruise will be Jan 24 (Magic) or Jan. 25 (Wonder).

I look forward to seeing those of you who are on whatever ship I end up on!

I'm waaaaaaaaaaaaaay excited.

If you're on the Wonder, we'll see you on March 21st sailing. We have two daughters, ages 7 and 12. We haven't told them yet about our vacation. We are doing the 3 day land/4 sea. Our youngest daughter wants to go on a cruise, and our oldest wants to go to Disney World. I told them the better make up their mind soon, but neither one wants to cave in. We've taken a cruise each of the past two years and the kids programs have always been fantastic (on NCL and Celebrity). We're anxious to see how Disney rates. Hope to see you there!

We're on the 1-25 Wonder, and Kate, our daughter, is 11. I'll tell her to look for you. She is so excited about the cruise. We also have a 9 year old and a 6 year old, and they don't know about the trip yet.
