I was a bit behind, forgive me for the old post quotes!
So you all are probably wondering what Gavin was doing with Jon during this time...
I found them sitting in the TV area enjoying some black and white Mickey cartoons. Gavin goes on to tell me that he thought the color had ran away!
Then he left me know that Daddy had told him that they didn't have colors when this was made!
It was too cute.
Love that picture of your kiddos in the car! I need to remember to get one of Henry there, I don't think we've ever stopped to look at it--or gone in those doors?
And super cute pic with Alice and the Mad Hatter! What a fun tea party. And Brenda is SUCH a sweetie for doing those things for those other little girls. That is truly proof you are doing something right, 4 year olds don't naturally act that way!!!
I had to laugh out loud at the meltdown over the big versus little blocks! Henry has done the same exact thing! He wants those big blocks!
I'm so glad you have decided to keep your report going AND that you have a trip to look forward to!

I'm sure you know this already, but the 2012 rates are out now!! Yay!!!
Love, love, love your pictures with the characters at Crystal Palace. Isn't that such a wonderful breakfast? We have only done it once, but it's been on my mind since! We HAVE to get back there!

YUM!
Adorable picture with Santa too!
Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. It was a pretty stinky birthday... even by my standards! Jon ended up getting an infection and we spent most of the night leading into my birthday in the ER. So yesterday was really just a tired yucky day for us. The kid's didn't want to listen and I got no cupcake with butter cream frosting because Walmart was out. I know your thinking "its just a stupid cupcake" but it was more like the straw that broke the camels back. Took Jon to the drs this morning to see his regular surgeon and the dr says he is now not allowed to return to work till after his appt on 7/11. This my seriously set back my trip. I know its still 530+ days away but all of this time is COMPLETELY unpaid... and instead we have to pay almost $200 a week to keep his insurance benefits while he is off... which is something else we found out the day before my birthday. Originally it was set up that they would take a little every check so that we weren't having to come up with money when we have none coming in. Anyway, so I have babbled on and on... again. But it is nice to get things off my chest sometimes.
So thank you for the warm birthday wishes!
Ugh. What a day. I know what you mean about the cupcake being the end of it all - I've had moments like that. I feel foolish for getting upset over something simple, but it's just one thing piled on top of another, can anything go right?!?!?!
I hope you've gone and gotten yourself a belated birthday cupcake by now--or even two.
I also hope things improve on the home front. I cannot even fathom being without pay for that long...you guys are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through these days! Hopefully they go quickly and fairly painlessly.
