It's all part of the plan... More or less! A Dec TR!

Thanks so much for remembering but Brook did pick them up for me while she was there. With as hectic as life has been yet, I haven't found the perfect time to give them too her... I mean for Tinkerbell to bring them by! :thumbsup2 Thank you again though!

Awesome! I am so glad yougot them. I know what you mean, Mickey takes credit for a lot of the things I get Jack :lmao:

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. It was a pretty stinky birthday... even by my standards! Jon ended up getting an infection and we spent most of the night leading into my birthday in the ER. So yesterday was really just a tired yucky day for us. The kid's didn't want to listen and I got no cupcake with butter cream frosting because Walmart was out. I know your thinking "its just a stupid cupcake" but it was more like the straw that broke the camels back. Took Jon to the drs this morning to see his regular surgeon and the dr says he is now not allowed to return to work till after his appt on 7/11. This my seriously set back my trip. I know its still 530+ days away but all of this time is COMPLETELY unpaid... and instead we have to pay almost $200 a week to keep his insurance benefits while he is off... which is something else we found out the day before my birthday. Originally it was set up that they would take a little every check so that we weren't having to come up with money when we have none coming in. Anyway, so I have babbled on and on... again. But it is nice to get things off my chest sometimes.

So thank you for the warm birthday wishes!

I am sorry your birthday wasn't good. It really sucks that you guys are having such a rough time! I wish I lived near you, I would have made you a cake!! :confused3 I know this might sound silly, but when I am in a bad mood, I plan a Disney night. It doesn't need to be anything extravagant, maybe just some themed snacks while watching a movie. Maybe some coloring/activity sheets for the kids. It keeps the Disney spirit up and brings a little fun out. I am sorry Jon is still not doing well. I will keep you guys in my thoughts!

OH no! I hope things go better and Jon gets well. Go gt yourself a cupcake now as a belated treat.

So you all are probably wondering what Gavin was doing with Jon during this time...
dscf0724.jpg

I found them sitting in the TV area enjoying some black and white Mickey cartoons. Gavin goes on to tell me that he thought the color had ran away! :lmao: Then he left me know that Daddy had told him that they didn't have colors when this was made! :happytv: It was too cute.

Love that picture of your kiddos in the car! I need to remember to get one of Henry there, I don't think we've ever stopped to look at it--or gone in those doors? :confused3

And super cute pic with Alice and the Mad Hatter! What a fun tea party. And Brenda is SUCH a sweetie for doing those things for those other little girls. That is truly proof you are doing something right, 4 year olds don't naturally act that way!!! :thumbsup2

I had to laugh out loud at the meltdown over the big versus little blocks! Henry has done the same exact thing! He wants those big blocks! :lmao:

I'm so glad you have decided to keep your report going AND that you have a trip to look forward to! :dance3::dance3::dance3: I'm sure you know this already, but the 2012 rates are out now!! Yay!!!

Love, love, love your pictures with the characters at Crystal Palace. Isn't that such a wonderful breakfast? We have only done it once, but it's been on my mind since! We HAVE to get back there! YUM!

Adorable picture with Santa too!

Ugh. What a day. I know what you mean about the cupcake being the end of it all - I've had moments like that. I feel foolish for getting upset over something simple, but it's just one thing piled on top of another, can anything go right?!?!?!

I hope you've gone and gotten yourself a belated birthday cupcake by now--or even two. ;)

I also hope things improve on the home front. I cannot even fathom being without pay for that long...you guys are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through these days! Hopefully they go quickly and fairly painlessly.

Hi everyone! Hope everyone had a happy 4th of July. I have been super busy lately. We had a huge party yesterday at our house for the 4th. Plus, I have been getting ready for Vacation Bible School. Jon and I each teach our own sections. I do the crafts so I have been putting a lot of time in there. All of this on top of Dr appts for Gavin (surgery is scheduled for Aug 1), Jon who still isn't back to work thanks to that nasty infection last month... and now I have to take Brenda to the children's hospital for that lump on her neck and also the eye dr because she failed her eye test. So I have been 1 busy gal! I am hoping to get another day from our trip posted soon. Thanks for sticking with me. It might be our next trip till I get this trip wrapped up! :rotfl:

so sorry your birthday was such a bummer. but wishing you a happy belated birthday! Is Jon healing up okay now at least? i hope he can return to work soon. thinking good thoughts for both of the kids as well! :wizard:

Thanks everyone for being so understanding!

Jon had a dr appt today... and after 8 weeks off he is able to go back to work!!!! So glad. The savings account is gone so this will be great!! I was really starting to worry about things. The other nice thing is they are short handed at work and can get him on the schedule soon. Then 2 weeks till payday!!! The other thing is he is going back to 1st shift. He is no longer allowed to lift like the night time job requires. It will be nice to have him home some nights again!
